Bear Fruit for Him

Greetings in the Lord!

Today's word comes from Matthew 21:12-22, of which I will share selected verses:

"Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. "It is written," he said to them, "'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'"
"Early in the morning, as he was on his way back to the city, he was hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, "May you never bear fruit again!" Immediately the tree withered. When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. "How did the fig tree wither so quickly?" they asked. Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountian, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."

~I discern that this is a 2-part word. 1) Move and speak in the authority that we as believers have been given according to the Word. Do you see an unjust situation? one being oppressed by another? the blind misleading the blind? Prophesy the Truth in that situation--now is the time to decree the strong arm of the Lord to move into action; pray that the Lord's will be done and expect in faith that it will! 2) The world is hungry, even starving, and we are supposed to have the food (spiritual fruit) they need. The Lord is moving swiftly through the Church to test the fruit of believers. Don't be afraid, submit to Him. Let your life be pruned, fertilized, and watered so that you can bear much more fruit later. Both of these verses have to do with swift judgement being released so that purity and righteousness will abound. Praise Him for His goodness.

~Be blessed and be a blessing.
