Today's word comes from 1 Samuel 12:19-25: "The people all said to Samuel, "Pray to the Lord your God for your servants so that we will not die, for we have added to all our other sins the evil of asking for a king." Greetings in the Lord! Well, there has been a lot of teaching among evangelical and prophetic circles in the American Church about the significance of the four blood moons coinciding with the Jewish festivals.  Historically, there have been major events involving Israel during this time (you can learn more by watching or reading what John Hagee and others are teaching on YouTube or in their books), but I will only share what the Lord has shown me. Overcoming PTSD

Greetings in the Lord! With another shooting on a military base, news headlines are re-examining the prevalence of Post Traumatic Shock Disorder (PTSD) among our military service people returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, in particular.  While certainly theirs is a stressful job and combat can leave deep emotional scars, I would like to examine this issue from another perspective--from a spiritual viewpoint. We know the Bible teaches that we consist of a body, mind, and spirit , yet so often we do not fully take that into consideration as we go about our modern lives.  As life unfolds and events and experiences take place, we often overlook how the spirit realm interacts and affects our more familiar parts, body and mind.  We simply see a doctor for pain, a therapist for emotional wounding, and go about with life coping the best we can.  But I'd like you to consider the spiritual side. Fallen Rock Stars

Greetings in the Lord! I'm a Generation X-er, which basically means I grew up with what is now called "Classic Rock." Decreed From Above -- Magic Veils Torn Off

Greetings in the Lord~ Today's word comes from Ezekiel 13 and it talks about God decreeing judgment against false prophets that have risen up in the land and have been misleading the people with their lies.  Naturally, reading verses like that always make me take a moment of self-reflection and repent before the Lord, as any conscientious prophetic speaker would do, but I did not feel as though this word had anything to do with the actual prophetic voices coming from within the prophetic community.  No,these "false prophets" are the liberal voices in the mainstream media, White House, Congress and Big Tech / Hollywood who keep trying to whitewash the evil agenda they push.  They keep saying 'all is well', when it is clearly not; and work overtime to discourage the righteous in the land while they encourage the wicked by promising "life" and "peace."  They do not work to 'rebuild the walls' of the nation, but are happy to let it become w...

The Long Race

Greetings in the Lord! While many prophetic voices are writing about the "new beginnings" of 2008, the Lord has been really speaking to me about the presidential race of this year. One word keeps ringing in my spirit: 'process.' I discern that this year's election race will be divinely used as a "process" to reveal heart conditions of our people, even within the Body of Christ, as we engage in dialogue and debate about who we want for president and why.
