Greetings in the Lord! This weeke the Lord again talks more about the US politcal race for President, citing John chapter 3 as our frame of reference. New Year!

Greetings in the Lord! Well, it's still January so let me acknowledge the New Year, 2012--may it be a wonderful one for you, faithful believer. On that note, I'd like to take a few minutes and share what I've been receiving from the Lord these past weeks in regards to this new year. I pray that this word will inspire and encourage you to press in and embrace the call upon your life; to lay down all that hinders, and to resolutely share the kingdom of God with others, letting His light shine brightly through you. Amen and amen! Recently I've had two dreams that I discern tells about this coming year. Let me start by saying that I've not been one to watch or read any of the "2012" hoopla. Yes Means Yes, and No Means No

Greetings in the Lord, A little over a month ago I received a prophetic word saying that God was really going to enforce and brood over the contracts and agreements made between nations during this year--mainly between the US and many different nations of the world.  It was a word to highlight and encourage several things: 1) for nations to adhere to and be faithful to what they sign the dotted line for; also, it was a warning that those leaders who think they can agree to one thing, but turn around and make secret deals to the contrary--they will suffer hardships and may be removed from office; 2) that sometimes it is in God's will for a nation to submit to the leading and authority of another, in this case, the US is being raised up again as a solid world leader to bring changes in laws and societal thinking that align more with God's heart for the nations; it is wise to follow this lead.  The Lord raises up one nation and lowers another according to His plans and purposes...

Bulls of Bashan

Greetings in the Lord, On Monday I awoke from a troubling dream.  In the dream I was in a house that was familiar to me, but it was filled with large animals, even the cats were enormous in size.  But the animal that caught my attention was a big, grey bull.  Its face was distorted and ugly, almost looking like a cross between a hippopotamus and bull, but the body was definitely that of a bull.  Unlike a regular bull, this one had little hair and its skin was a dead grey color.  "Strong death" is what I thought.  But instead of being afraid of this mutant animal the people in the house were stroking its face and saying how much they adored it.  Ugh!  They loved dearly this abnormal creature and were so happy to have it in the house. Keeping My Eyes on Jesus

Greetings in the Lord! Today's verse is from I Timothy 4:1-8: "The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer. If you point these things out to the brothers, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, brought up in the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed. Rejecting a Prophet Losing a Reward

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Jeremiah 29:24-32; "Tell Shemaiah the Nehelamite, 'This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel says: You sent letters in your own name to all the people in Jerusalem, to Zephaniah son of Maaseiah the priest, and to all the other priests. You said to Zephaniah, "The Lord has appointed you priest in place of Jehoiada to be in charge of the house of the Lord; you should put any madman who acts like a prophet into the stocks and neck-irons. Look and See Before It Is Hidden

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Luke 19:41-44: "As he (Jesus) approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it and said, " If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace--but now it is hidden from your eyes. The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God's coming to you ." Today's scripture reminds us not to take for granted the presence of the Lord, for indeed, He is moving mightily among us now.
