The Fall of the Daughter of the Babylonians

Greetings in the Lord! This week I received Isaiah 47 from the Lord.  It is a chapter that prophesies the fall of Babylon.  While we know the original Babylon has long since fallen, and even others point to modern day struggles in Iraq, I discern the Lord is speaking about the spirit of Babylon that has been resting on the United States (and worldwide) in recent history.  Likewise, when Isaiah makes reference to a "she" in the passage, I discern that to also include to a current "Daughter of the Babylonians," Hillary Clinton. The Lord Has Stirred Hearts To Build

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Haggai 1:13-15: "Then Haggai, the Lord's messenger, gave this message of the Lord to the people: "I am with you," declares the Lord. So the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people. They came and began to work on the house of the Lord Almighty, their God, on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month in the second year of King Darius." ~What project has the Lord stirred your heart to undertake? Know for sure that He says, "I am with you." In the passage the Israelites were being called to stop working on their own houses, i.e., their own projects, and start to build what the Lord had put in their hearts to do...and He was with them. Justice Prevails

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Proverbs 11:21~ "Be sure of this: The wicked will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will go free." ~I discern that in today's word we are to declare: "Justice! In the name of the Lord!" and pray that the Lord's Sovereign mercy and judgement be released into our circumstances, lives, families, work environments, cities, and nations to right the wrongs that have been going on. Expect that the Lord will show Himself in very tangible ways: the recovery of lost incomes, the return of loved ones, restoration of health, just court decisions being given, etc. Freedom and prosperity in the name of the Lord! Sun of Righteousness

Greetings in the Lord! Over the holiday season I spent some blessed time in California, not far from Laguna Beach area.  During this time the Lord showed me some wonderful things, altogether different from what I saw at the end of November in a very similar vision.  At that time, I saw storm clouds coming off the coast of California, tornadoes over the sea and yes, it was a short time after that southern California experienced those weather phenomenon.  But that's not the end of the story. At the end of December I saw another vision off of the coast of California, in what looked to be the same place as before, and now the sun shone brightly, warmly on the land.  The water was calm and the day was so beautiful and serene that I asked the Lord, "What am I seeing?" Can't See the Forest Thru All the Trees

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Micah chapters 1-2. Those chapters speak of God's intense disapproval of the prevalent idolatry, corruption, and immorality in Samaria and Jerusalem. While in verses 2:12-13 God promises deliverance for the remnant of faithful believers in those nations, overall the chapters foretell of certain judgment to Israel and Judah for their sinful ways (eathquakes and enemy attacks)...yet, false prophets spoke against the words of Micah. 2:6-7) "Do not prophesy," their prophets say. "Do not prophesy about these things; disgrace will not overtake us." Should it be said, O house of Jacob: "Is the Spirit of the Lord angry? Does he do such things?" The answer is a most resounding 'Yes!' The Lord loves us too much to let His people run rampant in sin all their lives--thinking that right is wrong and wrong is right. My Mouth Will Tell

Greetings in the Lord! As I was praying and asking the Lord about the word to give for today, He put on my heart to begin to share with you all the "God moments" that will be happening while I am in the Philippines ministering this month....and have already have begun! Last week, there were two such instances, but I will share only one for time's sake. The first one happened after I was done playing basketball at Iron Mt. high school. On the way out the door, I saw the janitor, and we made small talk as usual. However, on that day he asked me where I was going to next and that opened a door to tell him about the Philippines, and then on to witnessing about Christ to him. He was overjoyed! He said over the past year he had been thinking more about eternal life, and he didn't want to go to Hell. Greetings in the Lord! Today's word is from Jeremiah 31:28-30, 35: "Just as I watched over them to uproot and tear down, and to overthrow, destroy and bring disaster, so I will watch over them to build and to plant," declares the Lord. "In those days people will no longer say, 'The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge.' Instead, everyone will die for his own sin; whoever eats sour grapes--his own teeth will be set on edge."
