Greetings in the Lord! Today's word is from 2 Thessalonians 3:1-2: "Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith." Have you ever had a conversation with a non-believer and they say, "I have faith, just not in God," or something along those lines. I am surprised at how often I have heard that! Actually, the definition of faith also includes the characteristics of trust and loyalty, so faith is more like a relationship between beings rather than a trust in a belief system, laws of nature, or inanimate objects. So, what they mean to say is that they have put their trust in something or many things other than God. These misplaced trusts are what they rely on instead of the Lord. Dragnet Released

Greetings in the Lord! About three times in the past week the Lord has given me yet more passages of Scripture talking about the rise of Babylon these days and of them subduing countries. Two such passages were from 2 Chronicles 36 and 2 Kings 24. Both of those accounts tell of Babylon overrunning Judah and of the final days of Judah's kings, the destruction of the temple, and exile to Babylon. And while I understood the stories I was still yet unclear about the spiritual significance of this word and what exactly the Lord is talking about. But alas, the Lord speaks again the same word--the season is now for the rise of Babylon (United States) in the world--so I will continue to tell it as He gives it. Stand Firm in Your Faith

Greetings in the Lord! In my commute to work in Denver I often take a bus and metro train. I like the commute and the opportunity it gives me to chat with other people...or rather, I've made myself available to the Spirit to move and speak to other people. Yesterday I had a good conversation with a middle aged black man who was returning home from work. As we began talking he asked me where I worked and I told him the whole story of how the Lord had wonderfully arranged my current job situation--of all the prophetic words that had been fulfilled along the way. He was so delighted at the story and said, "Boy, that is a great testimony! So encouraging!" I discerned the Lord wanted to increase his faith and strengthen him with hope and it was well received. This was a man of integrity whose faith "battery" was on low and needed recharging. Samuel Answered, "Here I am."

Greetings in the Lord! Today the Lord had me read 1 Samuel 3, the story where God calls three times to an unknowing young Samuel. As you may recall, Eli finally figured out that the Lord was calling to Samuel and instructed the boy to respond accordingly. We know that in these days of the "hearts of the fathers returning to the sons, and hearts of the sons returning to the fathers," much instruction is being called for on the part of the older generation to lovingly direct our younger generation, a generation that by in large and as of yet, does not "know" Him. I recall also when this Scripture passage was given as a word to one of my younger Syrian teammates back in the Fall of 2003. She had a pure heart, as did many of my younger teammates, and she was serving the Lord as best she knew how...but "did not yet know the Lord." Put 'Belief' Back in the Believers

Greetings in Christ! Today's word comes from Galatians 3:2-5: "I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard? Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now trying to attain your goal by human effort? Have you suffered so much for nothing--if it really was for nothing? Does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law, or because you believe what you heard?" We are entering a very special season of a powerful move of God; many will see things that they've not seen before--all in the name of Jesus Christ! This is bound to make the "religious" folk among us a bit uncomfortable, if not down right alarmed. Come to the Mountain

Greetings in the Lord! God is so fun...today's scripture is from Hebrews 12:14-29 and completely picks up where we left off of from yesterday's scripture in Deuteronomy 5. :) "Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. Fork in the Road

Greetings in the Lord! Today's verse comes from Ezekiel chapter 21, of which I will share verses 18-23: "The word of the Lord came to me: "Son of man, mark out two roads for the sword of the king of Babylon to take, both starting from the same country. Make a signpost where the road branches off to the city. Mark out one road for the sword to come against Rabbah of the Ammonites and another against Judah and fortified Jerusalem. For the king of Bablylon will stop at the fork in the road, at the junction of the two roads, to seek an omen: He will cast lots with arrows, he will consult his idols, he will examine the liver.
