Greetings in the Lord~ Today I quickly saw a headline that Donald Trump will soon be visiting the UK, and really didn't think too much about it---and I really didn't associate it with the passage I had read earlier in Ruth chapter 3.  There we read that Naomi decides it is time to find a husband for Ruth, since she has lost her husband and all her sons, and encourages Ruth to lay at the feet of their kinsman redeemer, Boaz.  However, during my prayer time, the Lord began to show me a familiar vision, one that begins with a loud roaring in the spirit---the lion of Judah has awakened!  I've heard and seen this a couple of times before about the UK and posted about it, the first of which was a month before the riots took place in South London a few years back.  At that time the Holy Spirit was talking about the people of the UK needing to  "find their voice," meaning that they had been living under a stifling spiritual oppression...

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from two places in Exodus and talks about the same event--the deliverance of Israel from slavery in Egypt.  In Exodus 3, God tells Moses to go to Pharaoh to tell him to let the people go---but of course he won't---so God will perform mighty miracles to compel him to do so.  In Exodus 11, God tells Moses about the last plague He is sending to Egypt---death of their firstborn, and this will be the final act of God that will cause Pharaoh to tell them to leave Egypt.  It's an interesting story, and overall, we can learn that some people are so bent on wickedness and oppressing others that only when they experience grief from death of a loved one--and that as a direct result of their own actions, will they begin to change their behavior.  Still, we know that his grief was temporary and that Pharaoh ended up pursuing Israel out in the desert which led to his own death.  Such is the spirit of witchcraft anyway; anyone who en...

Greetings in the Lord~ The past couple of mornings I have woken up seeing some short dream "scenes" and today I am going to share one with a prophetic word to go with it. In a fast clip of a dream, I saw several tanned, pot-bellied men in swimsuits (yellow Speedos--lol) around a pool.  The way they strutted about in their dark designer sunglasses and gold necklaces, these men were obviously wealthy and powerful in their industry, like stereotypical executives in the music industry (especially of "boy" and "girl" pop bands of the US and UK, including K Pop, J Pop, and young rappers too, I discern).  At first it seemed that some of the men were Jewish, but quickly noticed a golden pentagram shined brightly near the men's right hip.    I discerned that the golden pentagram meant that not only did these guys follow hedonistic, corrupt lifestyles and business practices, but that they might be worshipers of Lucifer as well.  In fact, it se...

Greetings in the Lord, Today's word comes from Micah 6, especially verse 6.  This familiar passage gives us a glimpse into the heart and character of God in a gentle, yet direct way: O people, the Lord has told you what is good, and this is what He requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.  It is a passage that by default denounces a "religious" mindset---one that elevates man-made religious rules, judgments and sacrifices higher than the true heart of God, and it gives no room for self-righteousness or self-importance.  When you love mercy like how God loves mercy, you cannot go on treating others with contempt and hatred, or taking advantage of people and situations at every turn for your own benefit.  And to 'do what is right' is not following a religious requirement to the tee, but rather, it is a moral obligation to live with integrity with all people and yourself; to do to others as you'd have them do to...

Greetings in the Lord~ The past couple of days I've received passages of Scripture from Nehemiah 3 and Psalms 83, 116, 2, and 20.  In all of these, there is a theme underscoring the verses, and that is of ungodly agendas of nations coming together to gang up and ally against God's servants and shake their fist at God and His plans and purposes.  This is not only unwise and unholy, but it is a futile proposition and most worthy of incurring the wrath of God as a response. "Let us break their chains," they cry, "and free ourselves from slavery to God."  But the One who rules in heaven laughs.  The Lord scoffs at them.  Then in anger He rebukes them, terrifying them with His fierce fury.  Psalm 2:3-5 Now I know that the Lord rescues His anointed king.  He will answer him from His holy heaven and rescues him by His great power.  Some nations boast of their chariots and horses, but we boast in the Lord our God.  Those nations will fall down ...

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word is exciting, although it might take a moment for it to come to light publicly, it is and already has happened.  From Luke 2:1-7 we read about Jesus being born. Verse 6-7) And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born.  She gave birth to her firstborn son.  She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them. Indeed, this very hour a "birth" has happened--a God-ordained conception has come to fruition and is now a living "baby."  Praise God for His goodness!  Just like in the days of Jesus, his birth took place humbly, under the radar and away from public eyes, amidst all the pomp and circumstance and activities of the day!  While it was foretold years before and many had constructed their own ideas and expectations about how he would be born, where and to whom, and for what purpose, the natural birth took place unassumingly in a most ...

Greetings in the Lord! Well, from time to time I like to go back and re-read older posts and see how they have been fulfilled.  Sometimes it takes 2-5 years for things to pass, and seeing how we like instantaneous everything, we often do not go back to praise God for the good He has promised and fulfilled in our very midst.  Take, for example, the post from June 27th, 2013 called "Game Changers are Up to Bat." Greetings in the Lord, This week in prayer I saw a map of China in a vision and fires began to erupt from the southwest corner going up northeast, right through the heartland of China to the northeast coastline.  As I pondered about the nature of those fires, another vision came into view, super-imposing over the map--it was fire from a blast furnace making steel, burning out impurities.  I found that interesting because when I researched the area where the fires first began, it was in the Yunnan province, known for its mining and steel-making.  It was also interesting that the fires were in sharp contrast to the darkness all around, as if these fires of purification were consuming the dust and dirt and darkness itself.  It seems that industries related to the ones that I saw will be undergoing a bit of a purification, maybe a mind-shift in how they are currently run that will root out darkness and allow more quality (i.e. integrity?) to surface.  It...

A couple of days ago I received a passage from Ezekiel 8.  It is a chapter sharing the vision the prophet Ezekiel was shown by the Lord while he was still yet living in Babylon. The vision showed all of the idol worship that was going on in the land of Israel (Jerusalem) at the time, from the religious leaders on down to the common people--it was thoroughly corrupted with idol worship.  More than that, it was the reason given for their captivity and exile to Babylon in the first place, though obviously, the people had not changed their ways even though they had gone through many hardships, foreign occupation, and exile since then.  They simply didn't "get it," nor did they want to, it seemed. As I read that passage, I noticed it mentioned specifically about the worship of "Tammuz"--a false god of "new life," vegetation, and springtime, and also the worship of the sun--the most detestable sin shown to Ezekiel in the visio...

Greetings in the Lord! It is harder for some people to submit to authority than others, a lot of that depending on one's level of pride, probably.  More than just individuals become obstinate, however; entire nations can act that way.  It can be a pervasive mentality that gets passed down generationally, or a belief system that is not based on God to begin with.  But whatever the reason, Psalm 2 reminds us that submitting to God is always the best way to go, especially this year.  2018 will be full of showdowns as God is raising up His people in positions of authority and public platforms to confront and ultimately execute His will on the earth.  This has been and will continue to happen, in every industry and sector of life worldwide.  It is a time for His Light to shine brighter and brighter in the face of darkening days.  So while at times it is nerve-wracking to see and read about such hostile posturing and confrontations, esp...

You know what they say, "The more things change, the more they stay the same."  It's true, really.  We think we are so innovative and modern, but really, it is just the same ole thing done a little differently or faster, or more pervasively.  Take for example, internet spying. Whether it's done by governments, militaries, private businesses, individuals, or prepubescent hackers, it's not a new concept. Everybody thinks that if they can steal a little secret knowledge, they will gain some elusive advantage over someone else...or these days they like to pretend, to keep us "safe."  From who, pray tell?  A thief is a thief no matter the motive.  A bully is a bully no matter the circumstance.  Internet spying is about trying to obtain control and some advantage, plain and simple.  It's just a different frontier to harness and ride in our quest to conquer all.  Oh, brother! Today's word comes from Ezekiel 47; it is about the river of Life that flows out of the Temple of the Lord.  In a vision, the prophet tells of a small stream of water flowing out from the entrance of the Temple.  It was ankle deep as first, but with every 1,750 feet the water got deeper and deeper until one had to swim across to the other side.  Along its banks were fruit trees and many other trees, full and green all year, because of the life-giving water their roots tapped in to; every month fruit was produced for food and the leaves were for healing.  So the prophet understood the vision--whatever received this life-giving water from the Temple of the Lord would turn fresh and support life--fish could live there, animals drink from it and all kinds of plant life flourish.  The leaves from the trees gave healing and its fruit provide nourishing food.  The river could even chan...

Today while in prayer the Holy Spirit put this bold and sensitive word on my heart: "The enemy has overplayed his hand again.  Watch as I begin to reveal true motives about the meeting with Kim Jong Un.  Trump will retreat rapidly and make a checkmate move.  And the world will say--'Well played, Mr. Trump.'" Greetings in the Lord! Yesterday and today I received Scripture verses from Isaiah 11 and Romans 3.  I took some time to ponder about those particular chapters for they are fairly weighty passages.  Then this morning I heard the Holy Spirit say, "Ides of March;" that got my attention real quick because that is a time-sensitive reference.  The Ides of March is the 15th of March traditionally.  So it seems that we are on the cusp of a new season entering in. Now, while I am still in the process of discerning the fullness of what the Holy Spirit is saying, I felt the urgency to begin to put into print the direction I feel the Spirit is leading on this, namely, that we are going to be encountering some "turbulence" in the days ahead in the form of God's justice being carried out, which in effect, will pave the way for a period of relative calm and relief for those who have been oppressed and mistreated.  In the history of the Ides of March as it pertained to Jul...

Greetings in the Lord! Well, I finally received what I discern is a prophetic word for 2018 and I'm happy to share it with you.  Interestingly enough, on March 1st at 5:20 in the morning I felt the urge to get out of bed and go look out of the window.  In the night sky I saw a big ball of red--a blood moon?  It was very large and looked almost surreal by how red and big it was; it seemed to confirm my notion that we are entering a new and special season.  Anyway, the word for 2018 is based on two Scripture passages: 2 Samuel 8 and 1 Chronicles 18.  These are remarkably similar passages as they both tell about the exploits and victories of David in the land.   Nice one, huh?  So for us we can decree that 2018 will be a year for victory and of overcoming and eventually collecting the spoils of war (recompense for our troubles).  I don't know about you but I'm excited about this word! It is now just past the Chinese New Year, so everyone globally has officially begun 2018--yea!  This year the Lord has been speaking to me about 2018 in a little different manner, mainly by giving me small insights about things to ponder or by giving glimpses and unctions/desires for new things in my heart, and by reconnecting me to family and old friends.  Its been an organic process of getting in sync with Him and absorbing the visceral flow of His planned purposes...kind of like falling in love with the way He moves me.  Sounds like a pop song, doesn't it?  Yep, and the effect its had on me is that I am enjoying life and people more, regaining an excitement for adventure and for the new things that I feel He has in store for me and corporately for the Body of Christ.  And honestly, I also have had a change of heart for the younger and millennial generation.  It's true.  I didn't realize how antagonistic I had become towards ...

Well, by now most prophetic speakers have already given their word for the 2018 year, but I am still waiting for that.  When I inquired prayerfully about it one day the Holy Spirit simply said, "Wait for it."  Hmmm, OK.  What choice do I have but to wait, then? In the meantime, it does give a chance to acknowledge the previous words that appear to have been fulfilled within the past month or so.  The first one is with sadness that I mention a very famous K Pop singer, Kim Jong Hyun that passed away around the December solstice.  He was only 27 and really still at the height of his career.  They say it appears to be a suicide, but who really knows.  I do believe that trouble was diverted from Hollywood folks at that time and was carried out in another region of the music industry.  I've seen this before a couple of times where the Lord will give a time to pray and intercede for people to keep them safe...

Greetings in the Lord~ This week's word comes from two places in Scripture: Isaiah 14 and 2 Samuel 13.  Now I've been receiving 2 Samuel 13 for a couple weeks but was not completely discerning what or who it was referring to, and as my practice, I wait until I know the prophetic meaning or significance before I post about it.  Even then, there are some words that take more prompting from the Lord for me to write about, usually because its on a delicate topic or of a sober nature that people don't get excited about--especially those who run after "sweet" prophetic words like they're kids chasing the ice cream truck.  Seriously.  However, I do think it's interesting that the pendulum has swung the other direction in places, where people are plain sick of "ice cream" because there are so many ice cream trucks driving around all the live long day.  All they hear is the noise of the trucks playing their ji...

Greetings in the Lord~ Today's word comes from Ecclesiastes 7:1-9.  This book of wisdom in the Bible sometimes is hard to understand, in that, it has verses that seem contrary to conventional wisdom, and even appears to contradict itself from prior verses.  But much can be gleaned, nevertheless. "A good name is better than fine perfume, and the day of death better than the day of birth. It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, for death is the destiny of everyone; the living should take this to heart. Frustration is better than laughter, because a sad face is food for the heart. The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the heart of fools is in the house of pleasure.
