You Too, Music Industry!
Greetings in the Lord~
The past couple of mornings I have woken up seeing some short dream "scenes" and today I am going to share one with a prophetic word to go with it.
In a fast clip of a dream, I saw several tanned, pot-bellied men in swimsuits (yellow Speedos--lol) around a pool. The way they strutted about in their dark designer sunglasses and gold necklaces, these men were obviously wealthy and powerful in their industry, like stereotypical executives in the music industry (especially of "boy" and "girl" pop bands of the US and UK, including K Pop, J Pop, and young rappers too, I discern). At first it seemed that some of the men were Jewish, but quickly noticed a golden pentagram shined brightly near the men's right hip. I discerned that the golden pentagram meant that not only did these guys follow hedonistic, corrupt lifestyles and business practices, but that they might be worshipers of Lucifer as well. In fact, it seemed as though they even attributed much of their "success" to that affiliation and used it as a way to recruit others to join their belief system. At any rate, their sliminess and wickedness was very apparent, but people in their greed and ambition were still drawn to them, and it seemed to them that there was no way to circumvent these vile decision-makers and gatekeepers of sorts. Therefore, around the pool I watched a kind of predatory but complaisant song and dance taking place. These men were very much addicted to the amount of control they had and were capable of anything, at any time, to anybody. Yuck!
Well, after that dream snippet, the Holy Spirit said Amos 2 & 6.
This is what the Lord says: "The people of Israel have sinned again and again, and I will not let them go unpunished. They sell honorable people for silver, and poor people for a pair of sandals. They trample helpless people in the dust and shove the oppressed out of the way.
Both father and son sleep with the same woman, corrupting My holy name.
At their religious festivals, they lounge in clothing their debtors put up as security. In the house of their gods, they drink wine bought with unjust fines.
...I chose some of your sons to be prophets and others to be Nazirites.....But you caused the Nazirites to sin by making them drink wine, and you commanded the prophets, 'Shut up!'"
"What sorrow awaits you who lounge in luxury in Jerusalem, and you who feel secure in Samaria! You are famous and popular in Israel, and people go to you for help. But go over to Calneh and see what happened there....You are no better than they were, and look how they were destroyed. You push away every thought of coming disaster, but your actions bring the day of judgment closer. How terrible for you who sprawl on ivory beds and lounge on your couches, eating the meat of tender lambs from the flock and of choice calves fattened in the stall. You sing trivial songs to the sound of the harp and fancy yourselves to be great musicians like David. You drink wine by the bowlful and perfume yourselves with fragrant lotions. You care nothing about the ruin of your nation. Therefore, you will be the first to be led away as captives. Suddenly, all your parties will end."
Wow, not a very comforting word for those folks. It reminds me of the prophetic word the Lord gave regarding the #MeToo movement. Of course, there was some time before it all hit the fan, but God fulfills His words in His time, which usually includes (a generous amount of) time for people to repent and change if they so choose. That's the interesting thing about prophecy---there are different types of prophecy. Sometimes it is a decree of His divine action going to take place, and other times it functions more like a warning to the direction things are headed, giving time to make the necessary changes to avoid the impending disaster if people choose to. But in both cases, people only prophesy in part, as only God knows His perfect will.
Also, there are different anointing and callings as prophetic people. Many born-again Christian believers can prophesy, but few are called as prophets, and even among prophets, there seems to be different levels of anointing and spheres of influence. It would only take two seconds to see that my calling is similar to that of Jeremiah---called to the nations, to both leaders and people alike. And just like Jeremiah, most of the prophetic words the Lord gives me to share are for uprooting and tearing down and destroying strongholds, but some also for planting and building up. It is the type of calling that does not usually win people over or make you a popular guest speaker, and it can easily ruffle the feathers of liberal, antichrist-minded internet providers and platforms, but oh well. They, too, will have to account to God one day for their actions, and I can't imagine that silencing a true prophet of God will bode well for them. But I can't be worried about them. There are and will be many willing human agents of the Antichrist in the days to come, so its better just to focus on doing the will of the Father, like Jesus said to do. In Him is purpose, protection, blessing and every good thing, including eternal life.
