Urgent Study Lesson

Greetings in the Lord!

Today's word is really more like an urgent study lesson. Please read and study, then pray about these verses: Numbers 22-25, 2 Peter 2:15-16, Jude 11, Revelation 2:14.

The Lord has put upon my heart that we need to become very familiar with the wicked ways of Balaam son of Beor so we can recognize those ways easily and reveal it to others. We must now equip ourselves with truth from scripture, so that when the Holy Spirit moves us to minister or pray in a way to reveal falseness, we will not only move easily but we will move with zeal!

Do Not Envy the Wicked

Greetings in the Lord! A couple of days ago I received a passage from Ezekiel 8.  It is a chapter sharing the vision the prophet Ezekiel was shown by the Lord while he was still yet living in Babylon. The vision showed all of the idol worship that was going on in the land of Israel (Jerusalem) at the time, from the religious leaders on down to the common people--it was thoroughly corrupted with idol worship.  More than that, it was the reason given for their captivity and exile to Babylon in the first place, though obviously, the people had not changed their ways even though they had gone through many hardships, foreign occupation, and exile since then.  They simply didn't "get it," nor did they want to, it seemed. Grace to Overcome

Greetings in the Lord! Today's verse comes from Psalm 124 and actually builds off of the blog from Job, chapter 2. V. 6-8) "Praise be to the Lord, who has not let us be torn by their teeth. We have escaped like a bird out of the fowler's snare; the snare has been broken, and we have escaped. Our help is in the name of the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." In the previous blog on Job, I commented that "the Lord gives us both good things and gives us bad things." Why did I say it like that? The Lord does not do evil, but He allows it to happen for a designated time to accomplish His purposes. I said it like that to emphasize the completeness of the Lord's Sovereignty over all circumstances, so we can begin to understand the fullness of His grace. Greetings in the Lord! Today's verse comes from Hebrews 3:7-19. "So, as the Holy Spirit says: 'Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts as you did in the rebellion, during the time of testing in the desert,...That is why I was angry with that generation, and I said, "Their hearts are always going astray, and they have not known my ways."' Greetings in the Lord! Today's verse comes from 2 Corinthians 12:2-10. "I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven....He heard inexpressible things, things that man is not permitted to tell. From Out of the Sea It Appears

Greetings in the Lord! Today's scripture is from Daniel 7:23-25. "He gave me this explanation: 'The fourth beast is a fourth kingdom that will appear on earth. It will be different from all the other kingdoms and will devour the whole earth, trampling it down and crushing it. The ten horns are ten kings who will come from this kingdom. After them another king will arise, different from the earlier ones; he will subdue three kings.
