Greetings in the Lord! Yesterday in church our pastor gave a sermon based on the old movie, "Pollyanna."  Yes, he did.  He even showed a clip from the movie that was supposed to be a poignant message (eyebrow raised), "If you go looking for the bad in people, you will surely find it."  This is what we've been reduced to--modern conventional wisdom.  He did make a loose reference to Jesus by saying that Jesus promoted "good news" to people, i.e. any message other than a feel-good message need not apply.  Did I mention that he leaves our church in June--I wonder if he will torture us with movie "wisdom" and adages until he's gone? Anyway, that does explain the Scripture verse the Lord had me read in my devotional time before church.  It comes from Jeremiah 28, and it is a whopper.  It tells of Jeremiah confronting the false prophet Hananiah in the temple; Hananiah was telling the people of Judah what they wanted to ...

Greetings in the Lord! This morning in prayer I saw a vision of a giant United States flag blowing in the wind.  It was waving proudly, shame was being removed; it was being blessed by the nations again and spoken of with kindness.  And Americans began to feel happy to wear its colors, proudly lifting their heads as their hearts welled up in thankfulness to God for His many blessings on this country.  I saw people from all walks of life, skin color, and language start praising God for the United States. The red in the flag is the blood of Jesus and those who sacrificed their lives for this nation; the white is the purity and truth that will come forth again, and the blue, well this is special.  I felt that this blue stood for "prophetic," as a prominent prophetic voice will rise up in our nation, and from all over our land.  Prophetically, people will decree the words and truth of Jesus Christ, and it will cut through all the lies of the wicked: no ...

Greetings in the Lord~ Well, the month of March proved to be quite a ride for Donald Trump.  For months as the frontrunner, it appeared that he got overly used to packed rallies of mostly adoring supporters, so this month was a bit of a kick in the teeth for him.  Not only that, but most news reporters and definitely 24-hour news sources like CNN were setting him up for ridiculous soundbite after soundbite, and it has quickly taken a toll on his campaign.  Only the Lord knows from here what His plans are. Greetings in the Lord! Well it's almost Christmas, joy to the world!  I enjoy the holidays and this year was no exception.  I truly am thankful to God for all His blessings in 2015, even as challenging as it was at times.  But this past year, in those trying times, I felt a breakthrough.  Yes, a deeper reliance on God and comfort in the storm that I had not felt before.  Praise God for that!  I imagine that many of you can relate to what I am saying: the winds haven't really dissipated much, but there is a sort of calm knowing to it all--that our God is indeed in control. 2016 will be much more of the same that we saw in 2015, I'm sorry to say.  Yet, for the righteous who have been spending time with their God, the rocking of the boat isn't quite as unsettling as it used to be.  People may criticize and say we are just becoming numb to the world's often chaotic and violent events, but I beg to differ,  I discern by the Holy Spirit that th...

Greetings in the Lord! This week I've had several dreams of significance, but will share with you the one from this morning and the passage of Scripture the Lord gave to help discern its meaning. In my dream, I was visiting a house situated on top of large, rolling hills.  The hills were quite large and it was surrounded by wonderful fields of mountain grass--just like in the Sound of Music (Europe).  However, in the vicinity of this house was beautiful, thick Kentucky blue grass--obviously, the owners of the house had planted their own stock of grass and took good care of it. At the next part of the dream I went outside and saw off in the distance a caravan of cars tearing up and down the rolling hillsides.  They were making quite a ruckus and intentionally not caring about whose lawns or fields they were destroying.  There was a giant red truck carrying many men and one silver Cherokee type of vehicle with more men in it; the other cars were regular passenger...

Greetings in the Lord, On Monday I awoke from a troubling dream.  In the dream I was in a house that was familiar to me, but it was filled with large animals, even the cats were enormous in size.  But the animal that caught my attention was a big, grey bull.  Its face was distorted and ugly, almost looking like a cross between a hippopotamus and bull, but the body was definitely that of a bull.  Unlike a regular bull, this one had little hair and its skin was a dead grey color.  "Strong death" is what I thought.  But instead of being afraid of this mutant animal the people in the house were stroking its face and saying how much they adored it.  Ugh!  They loved dearly this abnormal creature and were so happy to have it in the house. When I awoke from this dream I discerned that this bull-creature was some sort of idol, a flesh covered demon?  I searched out some resources but wasn't satisfied that I had the full meaning yet.  Then, ...

Today's word comes from John 16:1-3: "All this I have told you so that you will not go astray.  They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God.  They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me." Jesus was giving his disciples warnings about the coming days, but it is the same for many Christians nowadays.  Persecution and outright violence towards Christians is happening worldwide at an alarming rate.  Even here in the United States there is growing contention and animosity towards God and His people at every turn--against our religious holidays, celebrations, and gatherings; even the secular media tries to taint godly viewpoints and opinions as if they were extreme and intolerant.  Kind of the pot calling the kettle black, if you ask me.  And where are Christians in all of this?  Mostly asleep at the wheel, it see...

Back in January while in prayer, the Lord showed me a vision of flames coming up from Mexico and all along the Southwest border of the United States.  This fire raged and burned hotly all across Arizona and began to glow hot with the heat of hatred.  The people were the bright embers and all who got involved got consumed with its rhetoric.  What were these fires, you ask?  The same fires that lit up in Europe over the prophet Muhammad cartoons.  At that time the Lord said, "May 26th," and I pondered the date in my heart.  It was Tuesday, what happened on Tuesday?  Was something approved and agreed to that confirmed the trouble to come?  Probably....but it's always hard to know those answers.  Instead we can know for sure that today is a sad day for Arizona--another prophet Muhammad cartoon expose is about to happen, and this outside of a mosque, no less.  On the surface it ...

Greetings in the Lord~ Over the past couple of weeks I've received warnings from the Lord to pray that "watchmen would return to their post," meaning, those prayerful believers whose role it is to pray and see danger before it comes and release an alarm to the Body of Christ.  Specifically, I felt led to pray for the Western Coast of America and as I prayed for God's protection to our border and for watchmen to see the danger coming, I had a vision.  In this vision, it was the dark of night and from the black waves below I saw a lighthouse on a jagged shoreline shining a beam of light over the waters to warn ships, and search out activity in the darkness below.  There were men--invaders, silently approaching the land, trying carefully to enter the shoreline unseen.  I felt that it was the Pacific Northwest of the United States, Portland/Seattle areas and that these invaders had taken the northern route from Russia to get here, although I'm...

Greetings in the Lord~ It's been awhile since I've written but as usual, that is not an indication of inactivity.  Quite the opposite; God is moving in a powerful way these days and there have been some major fulfillment of His words that need to be celebrated. First of all, in March 18th, 2014 I posted a word from the Lord that specifically denounced the rhetoric and recruiting propaganda of Islamic jihadists.  The Lord was very clear in His verdict: "Not a word from their mouth can be trusted; their heart is filled with destruction.  Their throat is an open grave; with their tongue they speak deceit." Just over a year ago (March 13, 2014) I posted a word that has recently been in the news....religious "freedoms" being the conduit for Sharia Law to take root in our nation.  Check out a portion of this word here. ____________ "What current propaganda are we to resist and be vigilant against?" Well, it's been a little while since my last post, but luckily February is a short month so it hasn't been that long.  Anyway, I will share a dream and word I received this morning. In my dream, I was telling a group of students that " Syria's hospitality is their saving grace ."  (It's true, too, their hospitality toward foreigners when I was there in 2004 was like none I witnessed and experienced anywhere in the world.  And it didn't matter the age or gender of the Syrian I came across either, their first words to me were always the same, "Welcome!") For the past two days I've been led to read from the book of Jonah chapter 1.  In this passage the prophet has been given a mandate to go to Nineveh to preach against it, to tell them of God's coming wrath to them for their wickedness and idolatry...but the prophet flees on a boat in the opposite direction.  Well, try as he might, he cannot outrun God.  The Lord allows a storm to hit the waters he is sailing on to help change his mind, to get him back on the call for his life. "But Jonah had gone below deck, where he lay down and fell into a deep sleep.  The captain went to him and said, "How can you sleep?  Get up and call on your god!  Maybe  he will take notice of us, and we will not perish." That is the word for today--"Get up from your slumber!  Do the work God has called you to do.  It's time to face the music," says the Lord. Greetings in the Lord! Over the holiday season I spent some blessed time in California, not far from Laguna Beach area.  During this time the Lord showed me some wonderful things, altogether different from what I saw at the end of November in a very similar vision.  At that time, I saw storm clouds coming off the coast of California, tornadoes over the sea and yes, it was a short time after that southern California experienced those weather phenomenon.  But that's not the end of the story. At the end of December I saw another vision off of the coast of California, in what looked to be the same place as before, and now the sun shone brightly, warmly on the land.  The water was calm and the day was so beautiful and serene that I asked the Lord, "What am I seeing?" He said, "It's the sun of righteousness," referring to the passage in Malachi 4.  I thought about the differences in the two visions--one of tumultuous storms and people running for safety and...

Greetings in the Lord! Most prophetic voices wait quietly at the end of each year to hear what the Lord is saying for the upcoming year, and I too, do that.  Sometimes, the word comes sooner or even later than I expect, but whatever the Lord is saying I prayerfully share as best I know how in the anointing He has given me to speak to His people.  Last year's word was difficult for me to publish, as it's never fun to announce the arrival of major adversities in the world, but alas, 2014 was the onset of the "year of the terrorists," just as the Holy Spirit said.  We will continue to see that kind of activity in the 2015 year ahead, but in the middle of it all, the Lord takes us to two passages to hold onto, for greater is He in us then he who is in the world.  We do not embrace or succumb to the spirit of fear, rather, we draw near to the love of our heavenly Father who has our best interests at heart always. I wanted to share two dreams that I've had this week and the corresponding Scripture from the book of Jeremiah 6-7. In the first dream I was sitting high upon a sand dune looking down at the beauty of the ocean before me.  It was a wonderful day and there were lots of people playing and swimming in the water.  Then I noticed off in the horizon that dark storm clouds were gathering off the southwest coast of our nation. They clumped together very quickly and did not form a usual, fluffy storm cloud, but rather, had the appearance of a clustered, dark swarm in the sky, moving in abrupt stages, but with calculated precision as if it was looking for something in particular--opportunity?   Next, the waves that had been play...

Today's word comes from Psalms 107; it is a wonderful praise psalm that is full of gems of wisdom as well.  "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.  Let the redeemed of the Lord say this--those He redeemed from the hand of the foe, those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south."  Psalm 107:1-3 There is nowhere that you can go, no depth that you can fall, no darkness that you can be hidden in and no calamity too great that the Lord couldn't save you---He most certainly can!  Praise him for that.  I like this psalm because it lists several different types of situations that people experience in life in which they are in over their heads and need the delivering power of the Lord to rescue them.  Sometimes their distress was caused by their own rebelliousness and foolish choices, "So He subjected them to bitter labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help.  Then th...

Today's word will certainly not appeal to those who demand sweet and cheery prophetic words, as if "encouragement" is the test of a true prophetic word.  Actually, 1 John 4:2-3 is a good place to begin for New Testament-only people, as John sets criteria there: "This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God.  This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world." Funny, too, the latest buzzword warning from pastors about false prophetic words is about "causing fear," but I don't see that in John's criteria either.  2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us this: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for...

Today's word is quite amazing when you consider that I was praying for the persecuted Christians all around the world.  I was asking the Lord, "Lord, we read that when the early Church was being heavily persecuted, that it had the reverse effect of growing the Church's numbers--why are we not seeing that now in Syria and Iraq and other places?"  But the Lord responded with this in my heart: "You will see that.  Soon, at the sight of the violent, needless killing of my innocents, conversions will break out among the enemies' camp, so much so, that they will begin to shield the atrocities from their own ranks, fearful that many will leave the fight at the sight of the injustices.  And the 'mystery of persecution' will bear its perfect fruit in those places." Greetings in the Lord! Well, on the last post I shared the vision I had about God intervening on our behaves on the spread of Ebola in our country, and lo and behold, it seems that we are making progress on stopping the spread of the virus.  The nurses and journalist are recovering well, and the family members that were exposed to the virus did not contract it--so a big hallelujah to our God!  The Lord really is good to us. Around the same time that I shared the Ebola word and word for Britain First, I also had another dream about Western girls going over to Syria to become jihadi brides.  I'm not sure why the Lord keeps showing me the people being recruited to go over there, but He has been for the past five months or so.  Anyway, this time I would like to share the dream because the Lord gave a specific word about how He sees the situation and what He has purposed for these recruits.
