Discussions at the War Table

Greetings in the Lord~

It's been a little while since I've written but feel led to get this out at present.  The prophetic word comes from Ezekiel 21, and it is one that I've received in the past before significant events took place.  For example, I received this passage before the U.S. forced Israel to give up lands in their rightful inheritance from God, and just over a week later, the U.S. was hit with Hurricane Katrina.  Anyway, it seems that we are entering a time of "Babylon" gearing up again to take some actions that will have quite an effect for them and the surrounding nations of the impending conflict.

For starters, Ezekiel 21 has a couple of scenarios, I will start with the later one concerning Babylon.  Here we find that the Babylonian army is at a fork in the road--it is decision-making time.  They have before them two options: one road leading to "Ammon" to attack them, and one road going to "Jerusalem" to attack them.  They cast their lots to read the omens and it signals to go to Jerusalem.  Now, Israel thinks it is a false omen because they have made a pact with Babylon; however, Babylon accuses them of violating the terms of the agreement and comes to attack anyway.  Later on, the prophetic word is decreed that "Ammon" will also undergo the strong hand of the Lord.

What can we gather from this passage?  Well, at short, there are actions being considered right now in the U.S. ("Babylon") that will affect both Israel and the surrounding nations.  It may seem like a betrayal to Israel, and maybe it is, but for the other nations it is their due punishment for their wickedness.  What I discern and hear in my heart is this: "Trouble is coming at the hands of Babylon.  This conflict starts out small and specific, but quickly gets out of control, for there are lots of voices and nations with vested interests in this conflict, some behind the scenes to try and use this conflict / situation as a proxy to gain leverage; the alliance of wicked partnerships grows to enter this conflict.  But still, Babylon will execute the sword of the Lord, His judgments."   Whew, that is a lot going on.

I will have to continue to pray into this prophetic word, but there is no denying that right now "Babylon" is at the war table, having crucial discussions about their next steps and no one should consider past agreements as a defense or shielding of trouble, for trouble most certainly is on the horizon.  So, as always, I pray the Lord's will be done, on earth as it is in heaven; and I pray for wisdom for the leaders involved in this prophetic word and for protection of all God's people.  Amen.

No More Politically Correct Prophecy

Greetings in the Lord! I want to share with you about a recent, and very relevant experience and word from the Lord. It began a week ago with a dream. In this dream, a very good-looking uncircumcised man came to me holding out a piece of paper in his hand for me to take. The situation seemed harmless and attractive, but a voice from behind me said, "He is an enticing spirit." Immediately I became angry and yelled at him in Jesus' name to leave and never come back. Upon waking from that dream I opened my Bible to 2 Kings 12. That is a story about an enticing spirit coming to all of King Ahab's "prophets" and putting lies in their mouths of success in battle (telling King Ahab what he wanted to hear). Greetings in the Lord! Today I will share a common passage that has new, modern-day relevance for us. It is from Mark 10:17-25, the story of the rich, young man. We know the story: a young, wealthy man comes to Jesus and asks, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" Jesus responds by telling him no one is good but God alone, or implying, no one can be good of his own efforts; then, he reminds him of the Lord's commandments for us to live by. However, Jesus knows the root of the issue is not about good conduct (works), but rather about what the man truly relies upon in his heart. But Jesus also recognizes the sincere earnestness in the man's question and prepares to lovingly address the man's misguided heart attachments to wealth while inviting him to follow him. It asks for a miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah. Hillary Unveiled and Birds Set Free

Greetings in the Lord! This week I had a dream and word of the Lord relevant to Hillary Clinton and for all of the people that support her. Tuesday morning I awoke from a dream where I was sitting at the top of a very large, semi-circular outdoor bleacher that had lots of other people on it, but not completely full.  Way down at the bottom was a lady in blue singing songs and performing for the crowd, but I was watching with only minimal interest, even debating whether if I got closer it would be any more exciting.  Then I noticed that under the bleachers was nothing--utter darkness beneath us!  Frightened, I looked to get out of there and saw that where I was sitting at the top of the bleachers was ground level--these bleachers descended into a huge bottomless pit!  The only other time I've seen such a huge hole in the ground in a dream was when I visited Dachau, Germany--the site of the first concentration camp and prototype for all the others that would follow...

Mystery of Persecution

Greetings in the Lord, When I get a prophetic word in a cluster of three, I pay attention because it's urgent and usually of a serious nature that unless I had the two confirmations in quick succession I would wait on it for awhile, not wanting to cry wolf.  But today's word is of a serious nature and a bit of a follow up from a word that was given nearly nine months ago -- so it seems as if it is ready to give birth.
