Spreading Vine Uprooted for Turning to Egypt
Greetings in the Lord! I hope everyone is having a great Fouth of July weekend! I wanted to share with you a word the Lord gave yesterday, one that pertains to our country's election race as it continues to roll on. It has been given to me before, but I did not have a good understanding of it until now. The word is based on Ezekiel 17 and tells an allegorical story about an eagle (of Babylon) coming and taking a shoot off the tip of a tall cedar and replanting it in fertile soil. It grows well in the abundant water and "became a low, spreading vine." However, another eagle comes (of Egypt) and the "vine now sent out its roots toward him from the plot where it was planted and stretched out its branches to him for water." "Say to them (the vine and its branches), "This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Will it thrive? Will it not be uprooted and stripped of its fruit so that it withers? All its new growth will wither. It will not take a strong arm
