Craftsmen Arise
Greetings in the Lord!
This word comes from Zechariah 1:18-21~
"Then I looked up--and there before me were four horns! I asked the angel who was speaking to me, "What are these?"
He answered me, "These are the horns that scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem." Then the Lord showed me four craftmen. I asked, "What are these coming to do?"
He answered, "These are the horns that scattered Judah so that no one could raise his head, but the craftsmen have come to terrify them and throw down these horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter its people."
~The Lord has given me this passage of Scripture 2-3 times now and all I feel certain about is that He is sending "craftsmen," i.e. people skilled in their trades, to "terrify" and "throw down these horns of the nations who lifted up their horns against the land of Judah." I'm discerning that we will begin to witness a vocal and heated support for godly leadership rising up from the "craftsmen" of this country, whether that be industrial workers, military, small businessmen, metal/wood workers, builders/contrators, trades unions, farmers/seasonal workers, the auto/transportation industry, migrant workers and any other blue collar job/career there might be. Their cry stems from economic hardships, injustice and disenfranchisement. They can easily see through the lies of "change" and "peace" and cry out for integrity, truth, and honor. These are the ones who work hard and give much to make an honest dollar--and they are proud to do so. They have a faith in Jesus, love their families and value their friends--they are the ones who walk the talk and can be counted on to "have your back" in a conflict.
Rise up, craftsmen! Rise up! The Lord sends you to break the horns of those who exalt themselves before God and oppress the saints of the land.
