Yes Means Yes, and No Means No

Greetings in the Lord, A little over a month ago I received a prophetic word saying that God was really going to enforce and brood over the contracts and agreements made between nations during this year--mainly between the US and many different nations of the world.  It was a word to highlight and encourage several things: 1) for nations to adhere to and be faithful to what they sign the dotted line for; also, it was a warning that those leaders who think they can agree to one thing, but turn around and make secret deals to the contrary--they will suffer hardships and may be removed from office; 2) that sometimes it is in God's will for a nation to submit to the leading and authority of another, in this case, the US is being raised up again as a solid world leader to bring changes in laws and societal thinking that align more with God's heart for the nations; it is wise to follow this lead.  The Lord raises up one nation and lowers another according to His plans and purposes.

Bushel of Ripe Peaches

Greetings in the Lord, I want to share a story of something that happened this week, as I find it interesting and encouraging as a believer in Jesus Christ.  Earlier this week the Holy Spirit said in my heart about my workplace, "Soon there will be a person to pray for a wicked request, and the demon they serve will demand blood for it.  But the Lord Almighty will not let it happen because it is a wicked request." I assumed that the evil request must be coming from the Wicca witch on staff, and of a serious nature, for the demand for a blood sacrifice after all.  But I no sooner thought that when I discerned that it was actually a demonic enticement--a stumbling block for that person.  You see, this person was raised with Christian values but left the faith sometime in her early adulthood.  Now much later in life she is a practicing witch with all of the accompanying vices one would expect: smears Christians with lies, slander, ridicule, and works to ostracize them, all

Go Ahead, Defy Gravity

Greetings in the Lord~ You know, sometimes the Holy Spirit speaks to me in the most unlikeliest of places...rather, He feels at liberty to step outside the "church" box I try to put Him in, if you know what I mean.  So I get surprised when the Holy Spirit begins to speak His words in a secular situation--I wasn't expecting Him!  Take, for example, many times the Lord has spoken to me through music, TV shows, and even movies--oh,the horror of it all!  We really can't be too religious with God, can we? Anyway, I was watching some Youtube videos of "Britain's Got Talent," or one of those type of shows and was being amazed by the young talent on there. But there was one song and performer that stood out to me, dropped my jaw more like!  It was the performance of a shy, very unassuming teen girl singing "Defying Gravity."  From her pigeon toes to her baby cheeks, Simon was clearly annoyed with her before the music even started.  The look on his

Jesus Came for the Sinners

Greetings in the Lord! Today's prophetic word comes from Luke 7, the story about the sinful woman anointing Jesus' feet. When one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with him, he went to the Pharisee's house and reclined at the table.  A woman in that town who lived a sinful life learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee's house, so she came there with an alabaster jar of perfume.  As she stood behind him at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears.  Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them.   When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, "If this man were a prophet, he would know who is touching him and what kind of woman she is--that she is a sinner."   Jesus answered him, "Simon, I have something to tell you."  "Tell me, teacher," he said. "Two people owed money to a certain moneylender.  One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other f

Summer Storms Are Brewing

Greetings in the Lord! Is anyone else just sick and tired of hearing and reading all of the contempt, lies and mockery coming from Trump's enemies?  I mean, seriously, how much venom can people have?  But then I am quickly reminded that we war not with flesh and blood, but with powers and rulers of darkness--yet our King reigns far higher, "far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in this present age but in the one to come.  And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the Church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way." Ephesians 1:21-23 So it is to Jesus Christ that I make my prayerful appeal: Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy on us, for we have endured no end of contempt.  We have endured no end of ridicule from the arrogant, of contempt from the proud. Psalm 123:3-4 Increase the days of the king's life, his years for many gene

Let's Play Follow the Leader

Greetings in the Lord! Today I am writing you from Japan and in my short time here already, the Lord has been showing me some things that have been going on here in the spirit realm.  First, I took the metro into Tokyo and did some general sightseeing--nothing in particular, just getting the vibe of the city.  When I returned home I started having a vision of a violent man scowling at me--an unclean spirit of violence had followed me.  I rebuked it and threw it out in Jesus' name and prayed that God would be my rearguard, and He threw it out. After dinner I was unnaturally tired, so I went to bed.  During the night the Lord began to tell me about what I had seen earlier and gave me a dream to explain.   I kept hearing in my spirit, "fear aggression" and recognized that immediately from my work with abused pit bulls--it is an aggression based on fear.  People can have the same type of fear.  It comes as a result of being hurt in some way, but also includes hurt from be

The God of Mysteries is on the Move

Greetings in the Lord! About three weeks ago I turned to Daniel 2--the passage about Nebuchadnezzar's dream of the giant statue.  There were two things that stuck me as I read the story.  First, Nebuchadnezzar used the dream as a test for all of his "wise men"--tell me the dream and its meaning or die.  Nothing like being put to the test!  It seemed that God wanted to sift all of the white noise that was filling the king's ear and show him who was the real deal from among his counselors.  The king's rage at the wise men who said it couldn't be done was a righteous anger--he could see them for the charlatans that they were.    Daniel kept his cool and asked the commander of the king's guard for more time, then he got his praying buddies together to petition the Lord for an answer--and God responded!  The world has been full of such white noise for a long time--man's conventional wisdom will be put to the test and seen as lacking when divine wisdom c

Korea--One Nation Under God

Greetings in the Lord, In light of recent events with North Korea and the United States, I am feeling the need to share the prophetic words the Lord gave me back in 2010, when I was living in South Korea. The first was given on May 23rd, 2010.  The Lord simply said, "It is time for North Korea to fall.  It is time, and it will fall without one shot being fired."     Next, on September 6th, 2010, the Lord gave a word from Psalm 82 and a dream to illustrate.  In Psalm 82, God decrees a word of judgment over unjust rulers, and in this case, it was North Korea's Kim Jong Il.  It was a stern warning for him to execute justice while there was yet time for him to do so. "How long will you defend the unjust and show partiality to the wicked?  Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.  Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked." Psalm 82:2-4 In the dream the Lord gave me with this word,

Chronicling God's Mercy

Greetings in the Lord! Well, this post is to get caught up with the prophetic word regarding events in Syria. As you may recall, I have shared several times about the prophetic word the Holy Spirit gave in 2003-2004 regarding Syria from 2 Chronicles 10.  Basically, it is the story of Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, who took power after Solomon passed away.  He did not have the same wisdom or power or favor that Solomon had, and the people were really tired of being overburdened from the king by that point and asked that he make their loads lighter.  Rehoboam consulted with the elders first, who said to do so would win the hearts of the people, then, he went to his buddies who told him to make it even more difficult for the people to show them how strong he was.  This advice appealed to the insecure and prideful nature of Rehoboam and he opted for this.  However, nearly all of Israel left him after that and only the towns in Judah supported him.  So it is with Bashar Al Assad--he is R

The Fall of the Daughter of the Babylonians

Greetings in the Lord! This week I received Isaiah 47 from the Lord.  It is a chapter that prophesies the fall of Babylon.  While we know the original Babylon has long since fallen, and even others point to modern day struggles in Iraq, I discern the Lord is speaking about the spirit of Babylon that has been resting on the United States (and worldwide) in recent history.  Likewise, when Isaiah makes reference to a "she" in the passage, I discern that to also include to a current "Daughter of the Babylonians," Hillary Clinton. "Now then, listen, you wanton creature, lounging in your security and saying to yourself, 'I am, and there is none besides me.  I will never be a widow or suffer the loss of children.'  Both of these will overtake you in a moment, on a single day: loss of children and widowhood.  They will come upon you in full measure, in spite of your many sorceries and all of your potent spells.  You have trusted in your wickedness and have

Out with the Old, In with the New Covenant of Peace

Greetings in the Lord! Well, here it is, 2017, and only 6 days from Trump's inauguration as President of the United States.  However, you feel about that, let me assure you, the will of God came to pass.  God does not guarantee that we will agree with all that HE determines, yet a spirit sensitive and submitted to the leading of the Holy Spirit would have recognized the need for a change in leadership in this country anyway.  We had a leadership that lied to us, took advantage of us, caused serious problems near and far, and did all of this under the cloak of smooth talk and devious deception.  My father would say this was "Chicago politics," but I digress. Anyway, our Heavenly Father has a word for us today that should be of some encouragement.  It is based on the passage in Ezekiel 34.  It is a word that directly addressed the leadership of Israel back in their day.  The Lord chastised severely those in leadership that fed only themselves and took the best of the la

Fire on Babylon--Let the Threshing Begin

Greetings in the Lord, This past week the Lord has had me revisit some of the prophetic words He gave back in 2001 thru 2008 for the United States--most of them came from the book of Jeremiah.  They were words about Babylon falling; about the Lord raising up an army of foreigners to take her down and plunder the nation of everything they held dear--all of their worthless idols.  The United States, my friends, is that Babylon. Well, we are at that place again.  For the past few days I've been led to read Isaiah 13, Jeremiah 51, and Amos 6-7.  Jeremiah 51 talks directly about God's plan to have Babylon destroyed: This is what the Lord says: "See, I will stir up the spirit of a destroyer against Babylon and the people of Leb Kamai.  I will send foreigners to Babylon to winnow her and to devastate her land; they will oppose her on every side on the day of her disaster."  Jeremiah 51:1-2 A very interesting verse jumps out to me when I read this chapter; verse 33:

Hillary Unveiled and Birds Set Free

Greetings in the Lord! This week I had a dream and word of the Lord relevant to Hillary Clinton and for all of the people that support her. Tuesday morning I awoke from a dream where I was sitting at the top of a very large, semi-circular outdoor bleacher that had lots of other people on it, but not completely full.  Way down at the bottom was a lady in blue singing songs and performing for the crowd, but I was watching with only minimal interest, even debating whether if I got closer it would be any more exciting.  Then I noticed that under the bleachers was nothing--utter darkness beneath us!  Frightened, I looked to get out of there and saw that where I was sitting at the top of the bleachers was ground level--these bleachers descended into a huge bottomless pit!  The only other time I've seen such a huge hole in the ground in a dream was when I visited Dachau, Germany--the site of the first concentration camp and prototype for all the others that would follow.  Interestingl

No More Cannibals, By His Mercy

Greetings in the Lord! If you've read any of the words on this blog for even a minute one thing would be obvious--the Lord does not use me like the marshmallow, feel-good prophets common in the United States.  It's interesting too, that many of the Old Testament prophets in the Bible were also not typical of that crowd.  Why?  The prophet Jeremiah says its because feel-good words of peace can only be considered true if they come true, (paraphrase).  And that most of the prophets of old issued warnings and strong rebukes against sin, that is why God had called them in the first place--to get His people back on track.  However, in today's American Church, many "prophets" just share words of encouragement because they know that no one supports financially those who tell it like it is. Interestingly, much of this holds true for the secular arena as well.  The American culture is obsessed with all things feel-good, look-good, and sound-good, too.  Which is how Obam

The Year of the Sword of the Lord

Greetings in the Lord! Well, it is the new year on the Jewish calendar and the word for this year is "The Sword of the Lord," as taken from Jeremiah 25:15-38. This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, said to me: "Take from My hand this cup filled with the wine of My wrath and make all the nations to whom I send you drink it.  When they drink it, they will stagger and go mad because of the sword I will send among them." So I took the cup from the Lord's hand and made all the nations to whom He sent me drink it: Jerusalem and the towns of Judah, its kings and officials, to make them a ruin and an object of horror and scorn and cursing...; Pharaoh king of Egypt , his attendants, his officials and all his people,...; all the kings of Uz; all the kings of the Philistines (Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and Ashdod); Edom, Moab and Ammon; all the kings of Tyre and Sidon; the kings of the coast lands across the sea; Dedan, Tema, Buz, and all who are in distant places; a

Syria is a Sign and Wonder to the Nations

Greetings in the Lord! The word for this week is from Isaiah 16.  I know this passage well, as the Lord spoke it many times earlier about Syria--she is the "Moab" that is being overrun just like in chapter 16.  The passage recommends to the fleeing Moabites to "send lambs as tribute" to be better received in the lands where they are trying to flee to, even to Israel, the land that they have acted so arrogantly to over the centuries.  So it is with the Syrians.  In fact, it is and was their hatred--especially of Israel--that has opened the door for the gates of hell to prevail against them.  Even when I lived there, the Lord would often give me words of warning for them about their continual arrogant hatred of Israel.  Their prideful hostility was vile in the Lord's eyes.  "Your hatred only hurts you," I would say, but they would quickly begin to justify their hatred with rationales and handed-down logic.  Their behavior and justifications had been us

God's Presence in the Lightning

Greetings in the Lord! Well, this has been a very unusual week with the Lord.  On Monday, I came home from work exhausted not just from the start of the busy school year, but more because I felt the ramping up of vile wickedness in the spirit realm and cried out to God for strength to endure, "Have mercy, O God!"  As I rested in prayerful meditation, I heard a knock at my bedroom door, but upon answering, found that there was no one there.  Only one other time had that ever happened to me--right before Hurricane Katrina.  That morning the Lord woke me up very early with a knock at my bedroom door--three times until I finally mustered up enough courage to answer it as I was home alone and it was 4:30 AM!  This time, however, I was not afraid.  Rather, I recognized His presence and was alert the rest of the week expecting to discern more from the Lord about what is up. Sure enough, three days later I saw a young man I recognized from the year before, a student who is bent o
