The Fall of the Daughter of the Babylonians
Greetings in the Lord!
This week I received Isaiah 47 from the Lord. It is a chapter that prophesies the fall of Babylon. While we know the original Babylon has long since fallen, and even others point to modern day struggles in Iraq, I discern the Lord is speaking about the spirit of Babylon that has been resting on the United States (and worldwide) in recent history. Likewise, when Isaiah makes reference to a "she" in the passage, I discern that to also include to a current "Daughter of the Babylonians," Hillary Clinton.
"Now then, listen, you wanton creature, lounging in your security and saying to yourself, 'I am, and there is none besides me. I will never be a widow or suffer the loss of children.' Both of these will overtake you in a moment, on a single day: loss of children and widowhood. They will come upon you in full measure, in spite of your many sorceries and all of your potent spells. You have trusted in your wickedness and have said, 'No one sees me.' Your wisdom and knowledge mislead you when you say to yourself, 'I am, and there is none besides me.' Disaster will come upon you and you will not know how to conjure it away. A calamity will fall upon you that you cannot ward off with a ransom; a catastrophe you cannot foresee will suddenly come upon you."
"Keep on, then, with your magic spells and with your many sorceries, which you have labored at since childhood. Perhaps you will succeed, perhaps you will cause terror. All the counsel you have received has only worn you out! Let your astrologers come forward, those stargazers who make predictions month by month, let them save you from what is coming upon you. Surely they are like stubble; the fire will burn them up...Each of them goes on in his error; there is not one that can save you."
Wow--strong word from the Lord, but I believe every word of it. There are too many in our world today that have been partnering with demons to further their earthly ambitions and to persecute their opponents unawares. That is the demonic realm of sorcery and witchcraft--it is all hidden; 'occult' means hidden. There are many seeking power and in leadership positions worldwide in many industries that are partnering with this demonic, hidden realm to try and attain worldly power and riches and fame--to their demise!
The average Westerner has no idea how prevalent this godless practice is because we hide our heads in the sand about this topic--it scares the average Christian and puts off the secular. Both refuse to acknowledge this devastating practice and thereby leave it uncontested. How do you think Europe went down the toilet so quickly? Even in the United States, we can see whole states [FL/OH] burning up in flames spiritually with the most heinous things happening daily, yet refuse to acknowledge that it might have ungodly spiritual roots; we do not douse the flames with our prayers to God to break the curses on the land! Aside from the global elites who use witchcraft for their own ends, we have antichrist people groups praying curses on the land and its people, folks, and it's time we appealed to heaven to break them off. But here's the good news--God sees and hears what goes on in the darkness!
Hear the word of the Lord: "The Lord is about to do some major housecleaning. Hidden no more, the light of Jesus Christ is going to start to reveal the evil workings both of the global elite and their associates, and antichrist groups who partner with demons--some of these wicked people will start to be found out! It is the season of accountability--for what has been planted will be harvested, good fruit commended and the chaff burned up! Expect the unexpected--ungodly vines uprooted and burned up; rocks hiding insects overturned with their nests scattered and their network of trails and activity exposed and wiped clean. This is a year to dismantle, overturn, uproot, and till the soil again for the fresh planting of the Righteous Seed." Thanks be to God our Savior, who sees and hears and accomplishes His purposes.
