Greetings in the Lord! A couple of days ago I received a passage from Ezekiel 8.  It is a chapter sharing the vision the prophet Ezekiel was shown by the Lord while he was still yet living in Babylon. The vision showed all of the idol worship that was going on in the land of Israel (Jerusalem) at the time, from the religious leaders on down to the common people--it was thoroughly corrupted with idol worship.  More than that, it was the reason given for their captivity and exile to Babylon in the first place, though obviously, the people had not changed their ways even though they had gone through many hardships, foreign occupation, and exile since then.  They simply didn't "get it," nor did they want to, it seemed. As I read that passage, I noticed it mentioned specifically about the worship of "Tammuz"--a false god of "new life," vegetation, and springtime, and also the worship of the sun--the most detestable sin shown to Ezekiel in the vision.  A

It is harder for some people to submit to authority than others, a lot of that depending on one's level of pride, probably.  More than just individuals become obstinate, however; entire nations can act that way.  It can be a pervasive mentality that gets passed down generationally, or a belief system that is not based on God to begin with.  But whatever the reason, Psalm 2 reminds us that submitting to God is always the best way to go, especially this year.  2018 will be full of showdowns as God is raising up His people in positions of authority and public platforms to confront and ultimately execute His will on the earth.  This has been and will continue to happen, in every industry and sector of life worldwide.  It is a time for His Light to shine brighter and brighter in the face of darkening days.  So while at times it is nerve-wracking to see and read about such hostile posturing and confrontations, especially between nations in very serious matters, w

You know what they say, "The more things change, the more they stay the same."  It's true, really.  We think we are so innovative and modern, but really, it is just the same ole thing done a little differently or faster, or more pervasively.  Take for example, internet spying. Whether it's done by governments, militaries, private businesses, individuals, or prepubescent hackers, it's not a new concept. Everybody thinks that if they can steal a little secret knowledge, they will gain some elusive advantage over someone else...or these days they like to pretend, to keep us "safe."  From who, pray tell?  A thief is a thief no matter the motive.  A bully is a bully no matter the circumstance.  Internet spying is about trying to obtain control and some advantage, plain and simple.  It's just a different frontier to harness and ride in our quest to conquer all.  Oh, brother! Today's word comes from Ezekiel 47; it is about the river of Life that flows out of the Temple of the Lord.  In a vision, the prophet tells of a small stream of water flowing out from the entrance of the Temple.  It was ankle deep as first, but with every 1,750 feet the water got deeper and deeper until one had to swim across to the other side.  Along its banks were fruit trees and many other trees, full and green all year, because of the life-giving water their roots tapped in to; every month fruit was produced for food and the leaves were for healing.  So the prophet understood the vision--whatever received this life-giving water from the Temple of the Lord would turn fresh and support life--fish could live there, animals drink from it and all kinds of plant life flourish.  The leaves from the trees gave healing and its fruit provide nourishing food.  The river could even change the Dead Sea into fresh water, full of living things.  "But the marshes

Today while in prayer the Holy Spirit put this bold and sensitive word on my heart: "The enemy has overplayed his hand again.  Watch as I begin to reveal true motives about the meeting with Kim Jong Un.  Trump will retreat rapidly and make a checkmate move.  And the world will say--'Well played, Mr. Trump.'" Greetings in the Lord! Today's word is from Psalm 118 and Psalm 123 with a word from the Holy Spirit below it. I lift my eyes to You, O God, enthroned in heaven. Yesterday and today I received Scripture verses from Isaiah 11 and Romans 3.  I took some time to ponder about those particular chapters for they are fairly weighty passages.  Then this morning I heard the Holy Spirit say, "Ides of March;" that got my attention real quick because that is a time-sensitive reference.  The Ides of March is the 15th of March traditionally.  So it seems that we are on the cusp of a new season entering in. Now, while I am still in the process of discerning the fullness of what the Holy Spirit is saying, I felt the urgency to begin to put into print the direction I feel the Spirit is leading on this, namely, that we are going to be encountering some "turbulence" in the days ahead in the form of God's justice being carried out, which in effect, will pave the way for a period of relative calm and relief for those who have been oppressed and mistreated.  In the history of the Ides of March as it pertained to Jul

Well, I finally received what I discern is a prophetic word for 2018 and I'm happy to share it with you.  Interestingly enough, on March 1st at 5:20 in the morning I felt the urge to get out of bed and go look out of the window.  In the night sky I saw a big ball of red--a blood moon?  It was very large and looked almost surreal by how red and big it was; it seemed to confirm my notion that we are entering a new and special season.  Anyway, the word for 2018 is based on two Scripture passages: 2 Samuel 8 and 1 Chronicles 18.  These are remarkably similar passages as they both tell about the exploits and victories of David in the land.   Nice one, huh?  So for us we can decree that 2018 will be a year for victory and of overcoming and eventually collecting the spoils of war (recompense for our troubles).  I don't know about you but I'm excited about this word! It is now just past the Chinese New Year, so everyone globally has officially begun 2018--yea!  This year the Lord has been speaking to me about 2018 in a little different manner, mainly by giving me small insights about things to ponder or by giving glimpses and unctions/desires for new things in my heart, and by reconnecting me to family and old friends.  Its been an organic process of getting in sync with Him and absorbing the visceral flow of His planned purposes...kind of like falling in love with the way He moves me.  Sounds like a pop song, doesn't it?  Yep, and the effect its had on me is that I am enjoying life and people more, regaining an excitement for adventure and for the new things that I feel He has in store for me and corporately for the Body of Christ.  And honestly, I also have had a change of heart for the younger and millennial generation.  It's true.  I didn't realize how antagonistic I had become towards them and the pop/inter

Well, by now most prophetic speakers have already given their word for the 2018 year, but I am still waiting for that.  When I inquired prayerfully about it one day the Holy Spirit simply said, "Wait for it."  Hmmm, OK.  What choice do I have but to wait, then? In the meantime, it does give a chance to acknowledge the previous words that appear to have been fulfilled within the past month or so.  The first one is with sadness that I mention a very famous K Pop singer, Kim Jong Hyun that passed away around the December solstice.  He was only 27 and really still at the height of his career.  They say it appears to be a suicide, but who really knows.  I do believe that trouble was diverted from Hollywood folks at that time and was carried out in another region of the music industry.  I've seen this before a couple of times where the Lord will give a time to pray and intercede for people to keep them safe (December's word), but sometimes trouble

Greetings in the Lord~ This week's word comes from two places in Scripture: Isaiah 14 and 2 Samuel 13.  Now I've been receiving 2 Samuel 13 for a couple weeks but was not completely discerning what or who it was referring to, and as my practice, I wait until I know the prophetic meaning or significance before I post about it.  Even then, there are some words that take more prompting from the Lord for me to write about, usually because its on a delicate topic or of a sober nature that people don't get excited about--especially those who run after "sweet" prophetic words like they're kids chasing the ice cream truck.  Seriously.  However, I do think it's interesting that the pendulum has swung the other direction in places, where people are plain sick of "ice cream" because there are so many ice cream trucks driving around all the live long day.  All they hear is the noise of the trucks playing their jingle tunes that they shut their ears, go get

Greetings in the Lord~ Today's word comes from Ecclesiastes 7:1-9.  This book of wisdom in the Bible sometimes is hard to understand, in that, it has verses that seem contrary to conventional wisdom, and even appears to contradict itself from prior verses.  But much can be gleaned, nevertheless. "A good name is better than fine perfume, and the day of death better than the day of birth. It is better to go to a house of mourning than to go to a house of feasting, for death is the destiny of everyone; the living should take this to heart. Frustration is better than laughter, because a sad face is food for the heart. The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning, but the heart of fools is in the house of pleasure. It is better to heed the rebuke of a wise person than to listen to the song of fools.  Like the crackling of thorns under the pot, so is the laughter of fools.  This too is meaningless. Greetings in the Lord~ Well, this week is more of the same from the Lord; prophetic words addressing corruption, exposing sin, and recalibrating the land in the US, both in and outside of the American Church. This morning I had a dream in which I was walking along a trail in the woods which connected two gathering sites some distance apart.  I was alone on the trail in this dense forest and was enjoying my walk when I heard footsteps running up behind me.  Scared, I quickly hid in the brush and waited to see who it was.  A big man wearing a bright blue jacket came running by, and in his hand he held a long leash connected to a much smaller, weaker man that he was almost dragging along as his captive. "Yikes! He's taking prisoners out here," I thought.  After they ran past me, I was just about to come out from my hiding spot when I saw a huge group of people wearing blue running and riding bikes from the other direction!  They were fleeing from something as well.  I le

Greetings in the Lord~ Well, President Trump is just about finished with his tour of Asia, and despite what many "news" sources in the US will say, it went very well for the President.  There were many business deals signed to help with the global and regional economies, while issues of security, business ethics, and fair trade were also addressed in a productive and frank manner.  The internet chatter has been overwhelming positive for Trump in the countries where he visited for the most part, and I can confirm the support and respect he has garnered among the Chinese where I am.  Pretty much the verdict is this--he tells it like it is and doesn't back down.  He wins people's respect for his candor and strength.  Such a different report coming from the liberal left in the US!  And I've noticed something else, that the more distant one gets from those fake news sources geographically, the more sad and pathetic they sound.  From the Far East, they sound illogical

Early this morning while in prayer I felt the strong presence of the Lord.  After He was done talking to me about some personal things, His focus shifted to the world at large and He said, "I'm going to raise up intercessors from all around the world to pray for Donald Trump, for I am going to move throughout the nations using him.  I'm going to solidify his leadership globally and restore honor to him worldwide.  I am making a way where there is none now for My purposes to be accomplished in this hour.  My enemies will flee from every corner of the world with the new thing I am about to do.  I'm going to begin to break some very big strongholds in places on the earth that have been crying out to Me for freedom.  Watch and see!"   Wow--"cool," I thought. Today's word comes from Revelation 9, of which I will share verse 20-21: The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and the idols of gold, silver bronze, stone, and wood--idols that cannot see or hear or walk.  Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts. Man, people can be really stubborn.   Revelation 9 is a chapter that tells of all the destruction and hardship--"plagues"-- to come to the earth as a result of unrepentant sin before the coming of Jesus.  Using colorful and vivid imagery, it paints a picture of how spiritual beings and demons will be released to cause these torments, and yet, people will not give up their magic arts, worship of false gods, or sinful lifestyles.  They just go on obstinately believing in lies and deceptions because they want to, that's the bottom line.  They

Greetings in the Lord, This past weekend I spent quite a bit of time enjoying the outdoors, one of our last dog days of summer. While I was enjoying the sun on the beach, I noticed there were several large plants growing in the sand. But upon closer inspection, they were not plants, but just weeds that had grown really tall. For whatever reason my attention was drawn to these weedy plants and I had the urge to pull one out of the sand. It took very little pulling for the whole entire plant, root system and all, to be uprooted from the sand. Then, like a hand bell, I shook the plant and watched as all of the sand that had been trapped in the root system fell freely back to the sand. Within a couple of seconds, the wispy root system was entirely separated from the sand and disposed of, while the sand freely returned to the beach. I pulled a few more weedy plants and found the same result, however, some weeds had vines underground with bulbs, as if they were trying to sprout new pla

Greetings in the Lord, Well, in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, now just a tropical storm, praise the Lord for sparing Florida and the south eastern coast of the US.  And we continue to pray for a speedy rebuilding of Houston and other areas of the Caribbean that are in their clean up after a volatile week in tropical weather, and for their safety as lawless hooligans take advantage of the chaos for personal gain. Greetings in the Lord, In 2003-2006, the Lord had given me many words about all the troubles that would be heading to the United States: natural disasters (Hurricane Katrina), financial disasters (Wall Street 2008), and the coming of a false light (Obama) that would lead many people astray and usher in a time of great spiritual backsliding in the United States.  These, among other things, were foretold by the Lord and had significance beyond their obvious immediate impact and result.  Therefore, it behooves us to scratch beneath the surface and allow the Holy Spirit to explain "Why?"  Foretold events are significant and go beyond natural circumstances.  It is important to leave conventional wisdom and the mystique of science and technology to sit at the feet of the Holy Spirit.  He is the only one who can explain, "Why?" and illumine the Word of God to the deeper layers of meaning encased within.
