Rider of the White Horse



Greetings in the Lord!




Wow--the news just doesn't stop, does it? Well, that was the prophetic word for this year. I took a few minutes to re-read some of the recent words the Lord had me publish as well and saw just how often He talked about the raising up of Babylon to carry out His purposes around the world; to uproot leaders and execute judgement against the wicked. Make no mistake about it, God is on the move these days in a powerful way. In March I had a vision of the Lord riding off on a white horse--and He was in hot pursuit to carry out His business. Look out nations! More things are on the horizon!



On that note I want to share with you the passage the Lord is leading me to read today from Daniel 11. This chapter talks about the kings of the "South" and of the "North" fighting against each other until the coming of the 'anointed one' or as most Bible scholars understand, the coming of the antichrist figure.



"He will be succeeded by a contemptible person who has not been given the honor of royalty. He will invade the kingdom when its people feel secure, and he will seize it through intrigue....he will act deceitfully, and with only a few people he will rise to power. When the richest provinces feel secure, he will invade them and will achieve what neither his fathers nor his forefathers did. He will distribute plunder, loot and wealth among his followers. He will plot the overthrow of fortress--but only for a time." (Daniel 11:21-24).


The chapter continues to give more details of the upcoming conflicts of the kings of the North and of the South and tells of how Israel gets into the mix as the king of the North "vents his fury against the holy covenant." Then verses 36 through 45 shifts gears a bit and give a lot of details about a particular king of the 'North," an especially powerful antichrist-type figure.


"The king will do as he pleases. He will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will say unheard-of things against the God of gods. He will be successful until the time of wrath is completed, for what has been determined must take place...He will attack the mightiest fortresses with the help of a foreign god and will greatly honor those who acknowledge him. He will make them rulers over many people and will distribute the land at a price."

(Daniel 11:36, 39).


So we can understand that this season will be one great fighting, both in the natural and in the spiritual heavenlies for many nations and peoples on earth. It is also a time of judgements being carried out globally and struggles between the East and the West (sons of Persia and the sons of Greece, as it is mentioned in Daniel 11). These clashes will be seen in the political arena as well as culturally and through religious differences between the East and West. With the killing of Osama Bin Laden the "kings of the North" have gotten a sure upper hand in these highly public struggles, but the seesawing of power and attacks will continue according to the propehtic word of the Lord. Keep watch as these words of the Lord will be fulfilled right before your very eyes.


And remember this: "I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist--he denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also. See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father. And this is what He promised us--even eternal life." (I John 2:21-24).

A Deep Work Being Done

Greetings in the Lord~ Today the Holy Spirit spoke to me while I was on the treadmill watching the news.  President Trump walked across the screen and gave a half wave and somber nod to the crowd.  Obviously, he's seen better days.  The Holy Spirit said, "Psalm 123;" I recognized this one from my own tough times... I lift my eyes to You, O God, enthroned in heaven.   We keep looking to the Lord our God for His mercy, just as servants keep their eyes on their master, as a slave girl watches her mistress for the slightest signal. Have mercy on us, Lord, have mercy, for we have had our fill of contempt. We have had more than our fill of the scoffing of the proud and the contempt of the arrogant. A Tsunami of Truth and Justice

  Greetings in the Lord~ Today's word comes from Psalm 31, and there are a couple of visions I will share as well. First, Psalm 31 is one that I don't get very often, probably because most of us don't find ourselves in this type of situation very often, if at all.  It is one in which the psalmist is crying out in deep distress and anguish to the Lord, even feeling like he is wasting away physically and emotionally all because of a great unjust conspiracy against him, a conspiracy so powerful and pervasive that everyone is running away from him, so it seems to the psalmist.  It is a lament of helplessness and abandonment that arises from the extreme wickedness of his foes, and distancing of those who were allies but now have retreated in self-preservation mode.  So while in immense distress, the psalmist resigns himself, even his very fate, to God alone and puts all his trust in the Lord to save him.  Complete surrender, like fasting and repentance, is a sure way to get God&

Greetings in the Lord! As I was praying today and pondering in my heart some recent happenings, or non-happenings as it were, the Lord said " Judges 3 ." So I got out my Bible and began to read: These are the nations the Lord left to test all those Israelites who had not experienced any of the wars in Canaan (He did this only to teach warfare to the descendants of the Israelites who had not had previous battle experience): the five rulers of the Philistines, all the Canaanites, the Sidonians , and the Hivites living in the Lebanon mountains...They were left to test the Israelites to see whether they would obey the Lord's commands, which He had given their forefathers through Moses. Like a Soaring Eagle, a Bird of Prey

Greetings in the Lord! This morning I had a dream where I was being shown all different types of drones--the unmanned flying aircraft popular these days with the Obama administration.  The man showing me these drones pointed out the varied weaponry on each, which included all types of guns and rocket launchers and telescopic lenses with tracking devices, and gave me a short briefing of each one's detailed purpose.  I was amazed that there was such a variety; each for a specific assignment.  Some of the drones had other technology as well, but mostly these were for attack, locating targets, and intercepting communications.  In short, they were very expensive model airplanes used for surveillance and offensive military assignments.  Well, after a vivid dream I usually Google online and see what's happening in the news, as most often it is related.  Sure enough, I came across this article today: http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/drones-american-skies-airliners/2013/11/08/id/5

Confession is Good for the Soul

Let the Tour of Shame Continue

Greetings in the Lord~ There is a book in the Old Testament called "Nahum."  It is small, only 3 chapters, and it almost never gets used in church readings as it is mainly a decree of the Lord regarding the swift and violent end of Nineveh.  Oh, it expresses encouraging words to those who trust in and love the Lord, but those short refrains can be found in less volatile and dramatic Scriptures almost word for word.  Consequently, this little book gets overlooked...but it is one of my favorites!  You see, before Babylon came on the scene in the ancient world, there was the fierce and formidable Assyrians, with Nineveh as its capital.  This city was built by none other than the Great Hunter himself, Nimrod; the one who was known for his overweening pride, dominance, and contempt for God.  From this corruptible mindset, the city was sown and over the centuries became known for their excessive cruelty, violence, witchcraft and love of riches.  With great oppression and upheaval,
