Remember that You are Blessed

Greetings in the Lord!

Today's word comes from Psalm 73:22-28~
"I was senseless and ignorant; I was a brute beast before You.
Yet I am always with You; You hold me by my right hand.
You guide me with Your counsel, and afterward You will take me into glory.
Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You.
My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Those who are far from You will perish; You destroy all who are unfaithful to You.
But as for me, it is good to be near God. I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge; I will tell of all Your deeds."

~Has there been a great change in your life from before you gave yourself to Christ to afterwards? Most likely there has been! But today's word reminds us that on occasion, even the righteous get caught up in envying the supposed ease and carefree lives of the wicked.  We lament over what we think they are getting away with and envy in our hearts causes a pain which clouds the truth.  The truth is, the wicked will get theirs, and the righteous will also get what they deserve--rewards!  Yes, it's easy to forget that we are blessed for following God's ways; we let our eyes wander and our souls envy just a bit till we step back and see the whole picture.  The wicked are not on a good path and we are, it is just that simple.

So today, remember the wonderful transformation, the new life we've been given in Christ Jesus. It is good and right to tell everyone of the wonderful things the Lord has done for us in our lives...and to remind ourselves of it on occasion, too.  The more you share, the more you remember and the Lord replenishes---I love that about Him. So, go ahead, I challenge you to share your favorite "God story" with everyone you can and watch and see as the Lord will have them multiply.

~Be blessed and be a blessing.
