With Uplifted Hand He Moves Swiftly
Greetings in the Lord!
Today's word is from Isaiah 26:9-11:
"My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgements come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness. Though grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness; even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil and regard not the majesty of the Lord. O Lord, your hand and is lifted high, but they do not see it. Let them see your zeal for your people and be put to shame; let the fire reserved for your enemies consume them."
The Lord is moving mightily among us, can you feel His Presence? And just as the verses above say, we are seeing the judgements of God being carried out and also His zeal for the saints. As believers, we will not have to wait long for a powerful move of God. "All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will bow down before Him, for dominion belongs to the Lord and He rules over the nations." (Ps.22:27-28)
