Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Ezekiel 47; it is about the river of Life that flows out of the Temple of the Lord.  In a vision, the prophet tells of a small stream of water flowing out from the entrance of the Temple.  It was ankle deep as first, but with every 1,750 feet the water got deeper and deeper until one had to swim across to the other side.  Along its banks were fruit trees and many other trees, full and green all year, because of the life-giving water their roots tapped in to; every month fruit was produced for food and the leaves were for healing.  So the prophet understood the vision--whatever received this life-giving water from the Temple of the Lord would turn fresh and support life--fish could live there, animals drink from it and all kinds of plant life flourish.  The leaves from the trees gave healing and its fruit provide nourishing food.  The river could even chan...

No wonder the maidens love you!" Song of Songs 1:2-3 I wanted to share with all of you the rather unique season of ministry that I've been in since May. Actually, preparation for this season began in March when the Lord brought to my attention a genre of video/ internet games that are quite popular these days--they have to do with Greek mythology (and the paranormal and possession). I was flabergasted to find out that these types of games have given birth to a whole undercurrent or sub-culture within the "gaming" industry and growing leaps and bounds into "conventional" culture as well that is hostile to Christianity. Teaching Time Trials Begin Soon

 Greetings in the Lord~ Today's word comes from Exodus 17 and Acts 17, and I will keep it short and with coded meaning.  In a nutshell, these passages talk about how the burgeoning Israelite community and Church came under persecution from enemies.  In Exodus, these were the descendants of Amalek.  They attacked Israel in the desert at Rephidim, after they had just fought with Moses about not having any water to drink.  In fact, they allowed their complaining to go so far as to doubt his leadership and the Sovereign will of God.  Not good.  They had to go through this ordeal, however, including the attack of the Amalekites, as they were learning to depend and call on God for both protection and provision.  And, the Amalekites became cursed for all time because of their cruel and opportunistic behavior in attacking Israel when they were tired and thirsty.   In Acts 17, we read about Paul and Silas in Greece.  While in the sophisticat...

Skirts Torn Off

Greetings in the Lord! Well, on the last post I shared the vision I had about God intervening on our behaves on the spread of Ebola in our country, and lo and behold, it seems that we are making progress on stopping the spread of the virus.  The nurses and journalist are recovering well, and the family members that were exposed to the virus did not contract it--so a big hallelujah to our God!  The Lord really is good to us. Around the same time that I shared the Ebola word and word for Britain First, I also had another dream about Western girls going over to Syria to become jihadi brides.  I'm not sure why the Lord keeps showing me the people being recruited to go over there, but He has been for the past five months or so.  Anyway, this time I would like to share the dream because the Lord gave a specific word about how He sees the situation and what He has purposed for these recruits. 9.8 Million

 Greetings in the Lord, Today's word comes from Psalm 9:8, or Psalm 98:9, take your pick, for they are essentially saying the same thing: 9:8) He will judge the world with justice and rule the nations with fairness. 98:9)...before the Lord, for He is coming to judge the earth.  He will judge the world with justice, and the nations with fairness. The coincidence of these similar verses is even more interesting to me since I got the number 9:8 or 98.9 from the number of people who tuned in to watch the Oscars this past weekend.  That number just jumped out to me after I read an article on the extremely low ratings and discerned it was a sign of some sort; let me explain.  First of all, it was surprising to me that I tuned in for a portion of the show (as I don't usually watch award shows) and got to witness the clear awkwardness of Brad Pitt as he presented an award to a woman he obviously did not know.  Now, she was simply delightful and the hit of the evening by...

Consider the Great Love of the Lord

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Psalms 107; it is a wonderful praise psalm that is full of gems of wisdom as well.  "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.  Let the redeemed of the Lord say this--those He redeemed from the hand of the foe, those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south."  Psalm 107:1-3 There is nowhere that you can go, no depth that you can fall, no darkness that you can be hidden in and no calamity too great that the Lord couldn't save you---He most certainly can!  Praise him for that.  I like this psalm because it lists several different types of situations that people experience in life in which they are in over their heads and need the delivering power of the Lord to rescue them.  Sometimes their distress was caused by their own rebelliousness and foolish choices, "So He subjected them to bitter labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help.  Then th...

Cleansing Wind Comes and Sweeps Away the Debris

Greetings in the Lord! Well, I wanted to post an update to a word that was given on Nov. 2nd, partly because I like to see when and how God fulfills His word (and I'm guessing that others are interested as well), and partly because it's important to acknowledge and give thanks to God!  Thank you, Lord, for being so faithful!  Your glory is seen in all the earth and we praise You. Amen.
