One Person at a Time

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from a small little book in the Old Testament called Habakkuk, chapters1:15-2:20.  The other times I've been lead to read these verses were before the fall of Saddam Hussein and imprisonment of the oil tycoon of Russia, Mikhail Khodrokovsky.  "The wicked foe pulls all of them up with hooks, he catches them in his net, he gathers them up in his dragnet; and so he rejoices and is glad.  Therefore he sacrifices to his net and burns incense to his dragnet, for by his net he lives in luxury and enjoys the choicest food.   Is he to keep on emptying his net, destroying nations without mercy?"  (Hab. 1:15- 17) Well, the Lord answers the prophet by saying: "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.  For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false.  Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly co...

Set Free From the Trap

Greetings in the Lord~ Today's prophetic word comes from Psalm 79, complete with accompanying dream.  It is a pretty intense psalm that uses very dramatic language to express the desperate cry of the people of God to the Lord for His saving grace and power, and ultimately, to rescue those in great need.  And it is the second psalm of petition and deliverance I've received on behalf of someone in the entertainment industry, for it is that time of year... Unseen Road Ahead, Use the Light of Christ to Proceed

  Greetings in the Lord~ For the past couple of weeks I've been led to read from the book of Amos.  First of all, that prophet is interesting to me, as he was just a regular dude working in the fields when God called him to speak to the northern tribes of Israel.  Who knows why God called Amos, this regular dude, maybe because someone in an official Jewish/religious capacity would have been turned away from the get go, as the northern tribes at that time were idol worshipers for the most part.  It's also interesting how many prophetic voices we have speaking in this day and age that are also just "regular people," called by God to speak out in their sphere of influence or on social media, or what have you.  It's almost like God is intentionally using these regular folks because there is a large portion of the United States that does not or would not listen to anyone who came to them in an official religious capacity, just like in Amos' day.  And these regul...

Sing Songs of Praise for Deliverance

Greetings in the Lord~ Today's word is based on a recent intense dream I had, one that came with an accompanying scripture passage to help give the depth and seriousness of the dream.  It went like this. A female musician/entertainer was attending an industry dinner out in either LA or NYC, that was put on by a major elite in the business.  She was enjoying the evening of networking and socializing, but realized that though she was popular enough to get invited, that she was still just one of many trying to move up in the business.   At her table were various industry people, not all actors or musicians, but some were assistants and behind the scenes people as well.  In the middle of the table on display were small ornate gifts which everyone curiously noticed, but didn't talk about.  Finally, towards the end of the dinner, the female musician/entertainer took the initiative to hand them out to each person at the table, thinking the gifts were like the smal...

Separate Yourself From Babylon

Greetings in the Lord~ Today's word comes from Revelation 18 and Psalms 93 & 91. Lately, there has been an lot of "buzz" of activity in the spirit realm, which usually indicates to me that there are lots of things going on in secret, usually for bad, but also for good in this case.  I've already written that showdown time is dawning, and it seems everyone is busy in their strategizing mode preparing for the day of battle, both in Congress and it seems also within the court system.  This could be big issues like the antitrust suits being waged against Big Tech, but also having to do with the Supreme Court itself.  We already know that the Dems want to pack the court and that the impeachment trial will be underway soon, so I discern all of these things are included in the "showdown."  But this is where Psalm 93 speaks to us: Your throne, O Lord, has stood from time immemorial.  You Yourself are from the everlasting past.  The floods have risen up, O Lord....

Get Ready for the Dam to Break

  Greetings in the Lord~ It's been quite some time ago, maybe two years or more, when the Lord put on my heart about how this administration would eventually fall apart.  In a vision, the Lord showed me a large, white dam wall holding back a major river.  This wall represented all the lies, schemes and scandals, and outright corruption done to keep back the rivers of righteousness from flowing in the United States.   At first, this wall seemed impenetrable, but as the river grew in size--from all of the concerned, hurt and angry voices speaking truth and persistent prayers of the faithful, the river grew and grew as more streams deposited into it.  Then, finally, one day, a small crack appeared!  So minute was the squirt of water that shot from the hairline crack--it seemed almost irrelevant, like there was no way this little crack could end up toppling the giant wall down.  But it did!!!
