Crucial Update

Greetings in the Lord! I wanted to give you an update about a word given in January of 2006. The word was: "Before the beginning of 2008, the European Union will pass its constitution," thereby making the EU an official governing body. You may recall, that in 2004 there was a push to ratify th at Constitution, which was struck down by referendum in only France and Holland in 2005. After a "cooling off period," the ball was picked up again early in 2007. In a nutshell, EU officials simply renamed the Constitution a "Treaty" (of Lisbon), made slight legal modifications, dropped the formal use of the EU flag and emblem, and changed its exclusive reference to Europe's Christian heritage to an all-inclusive religious stance and reference to "humanism." Strengthen Feeble Arms and Weak Knees

Greetings in the Lord! For the past three weeks I have been fasting a Daniel's fast because the Lord put it on my heart to participate with a ministry that issued the fast for our country. On this, the last day of the fast, the Lord led me to read Isaiah 22. It is a word about some of the major things happening in our country from a political perspective. It also sheds light on the things we as Christians should be doing in our lives to do our part to strengthen this country. "...What troubles you now, that you have all gone up on the roofs, O town full of commotion, O city of tumult and revelry...All your leaders have fled together;...All you who were caught were taken prisoner together, having fled while the enemy was still far away. Fire on Babylon--Let the Threshing Begin

Greetings in the Lord, This past week the Lord has had me revisit some of the prophetic words He gave back in 2001 thru 2008 for the United States--most of them came from the book of Jeremiah.  They were words about Babylon falling; about the Lord raising up an army of foreigners to take her down and plunder the nation of everything they held dear--all of their worthless idols.  The United States, my friends, is that Babylon. Jesus-Friendly Banking

Greetings in the Lord! Today I will share a common passage that has new, modern-day relevance for us. It is from Mark 10:17-25, the story of the rich, young man. We know the story: a young, wealthy man comes to Jesus and asks, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" Jesus responds by telling him no one is good but God alone, or implying, no one can be good of his own efforts; then, he reminds him of the Lord's commandments for us to live by. However, Jesus knows the root of the issue is not about good conduct (works), but rather about what the man truly relies upon in his heart. But Jesus also recognizes the sincere earnestness in the man's question and prepares to lovingly address the man's misguided heart attachments to wealth while inviting him to follow him. Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Ezekiel 24:15-27, but I feel led to share it from the Contemporary English Version instead of the usual NIV translation: "The Lord said, 'Ezekiel, son of man, I will suddenly take the life of the person you love most. But I don't want you to complain or cry. Mourn in silence and don't show that you are grieving. Mexican US Immigration Word

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Isaiah 29:8-26 and is a word about the current Mexican-US Immigration struggles. I will take excerpts from the entire scriptural passage the Lord gave since it is so long: V 10-11) "They (Mexican workers/immigrants) will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat upon them.
