Scatter the Fruitless Fig Trees

Greetings in the Lord! One of the things I've learned very well over the years is that God's timing is not our timing. I know, it's like, "You can say that again, sister!" right? ha Yeah, it's hard to wait...for good things, that is. For the possibility of unpleasant things to happen we can appreciate delay, hoping it never to come to pass, but not so for good things. We want them now. God's word speaks so often of timing, seasons, He calls it, that a special anointing was given to the tribe of Issachar to be able to discern the seasons of God. So that leads me to today's word from Psalm 68 and Mark 11:12-14 and verses 20-21) The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. A Great Harvest of Approval

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word is Psalm 67, taken from the Amplified Bible: "God be merciful and gracious to us and bless us and cause His face to shine upon us and among us. Selah. That Your way may be known upon earth, Your saving power (Your deliverances and Your salvation) among all nations. Let the peoples praise You (turn away from their idols) and give thanks to You, O God; let all the peoples praise and give thanks to You. With Foreign Lips God Will Speak

Greetings in the Lord! As usual I let too much time go by before sharing what the Lord is saying these days in general, and also what He is doing in my life. For starters, He had put on my heart that He was going to open some doors to speak about the book I've just put out, "Fire of the Orange Ball," and I've walked through those doors. Last week I was invited to speak on Islam to a grassroots political organization, "Act! for America." They have about 78,000 members nationwide, with about 1,500 members in this particular Denver chapter alone. Needless to say I was pretty excited. You can be sure that there are many opinions on the subject of what to do about the growing Islamization in America, but the Lord put on my heart to really emphasize to that group the necessity to evaluate their own hearts first--was fear, hate or pride behind any of their motives for getting involved with that issue? Jump for My Purifying Love

Greetings in the Lord! Today's scripture will be a combination of Job 2 and Malachi 3:16-4:3---sometimes the Lord has to use two (or more!) scripture references for me to discern the word that He is trying to tell me! :) In Job 2 we read about the second test of Job: being faithful to God during a bodily affliction. In fact, it seems that much of the book of Job revolves around this question: How will a good man act, and what should he think, when he is tested by suffering? Job tells us, "Shall we accept good from God and not trouble?" Job2:10b. Job reveals some deep insights for us. First, we can receive good things from God and we can receive bad things. I realize that this is a very troubling concept for our American church, one so addicted to comfort and blessings. But do not allow yourself to think like Job's erroneous friends: our testings and trials are not the result of an angry God punishing us...in fact, quite the opposite. In the Third Year Sow and Reap

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word will be a fun one to share as it comes from Isaiah 12:1-6 and will read more as a Praise Report: "In that day you will say: 'I will praise you, O Lord. Although You were angry with me, your anger has turned away and You have comforted me. Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord, is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation.' With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.
