Houseguests No More, In Jesus' Name

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word is actually several Scriptures from the book of Proverbs, my favorite book in the Bible.  As you may know, Proverbs is a collection of short bits of wisdom, and lends itself very nicely for us practical and pragmatic types.  For those who say, "The Bible is confusing," they could start to read there.  The Scriptures are short and sweet, and for the most part, plain to understand. Now, having said all that, I would just like to add that many Proverbs are a lot more literal than we can understand, too.  Take, for example, today's starting verse: Proverbs 21:16) A man who strays from the path of understanding comes to rest in the company of the dead. North Korea & South Korea

Greetings in the Lord! It is such an honor to share this next word of the Lord with you.  Why God choses to use us humans as His servants when He is more than capable of doing it all Himself is beyond me, in the first place.  Anyway, to God be all the glory. The past couple of weeks I was in South Korea and was blessed to hear the Holy Spirit tell about all the wonderful things God is doing in that country, and in that whole peninsula!  He began by saying: "The Lord has given to South Korea all the nations of the earth; great favor with all the nations of the earth!  South Korea will begin to walk in the authority God has placed upon her shoulders, much in the same way He has blessed the United States of America, to share the Good News to all people!  Yes, there will be abundance in the marketplace, but that is just a result of the blessing.  The Lord is and has been opening doors of opportunity to South Korea, and will continue to...

Let Go and Lift Your Eyes

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Genesis 13:14-17: "The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, "Lift up your eyes from where you are and look north and south, east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever. I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth, so that if anyone could count the dust, then your offspring could be counted. Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you." ~Think for a moment: what are you holding on to that is causing strife and jealousy to spring up among you and others? Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Psalm 19:7-11 and Isaiah chapter 46, especially verses 1-2: "The law of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes. The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The ordinances of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb. By them is your servant warned; in keeping them there is great reward." From the Sea, a Tempestuous Storm to Cleanse the Land

Greetings in the Lord, Well, today's word comes from Isaiah 2, and from my experience with that and the next chapter, natural disaster is on the horizon, and in this case, from Dorian.  Yes, I know today it looks like things are slowing down to a standstill and even decreasing in intensity for this storm, but the word of the Lord says this: "This storm is going to regroup and wipe through Florida---there is going to be a lot of damage, but little loss of life." At this point I want to share the passage from Isaiah 2:6-22 that He also gave: You have abandoned Your people, the house of Jacob. Blow the Horn, Sound the Trumpet

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Jeremiah chapter 6. I will write selected verses: V. 1 "Flee for safety, people of Benjamin! Flee from Jerusalem! Sound the trumpet in Tekoa!
