Dragnet Released

Greetings in the Lord! About three times in the past week the Lord has given me yet more passages of Scripture talking about the rise of Babylon these days and of them subduing countries. Two such passages were from 2 Chronicles 36 and 2 Kings 24. Both of those accounts tell of Babylon overrunning Judah and of the final days of Judah's kings, the destruction of the temple, and exile to Babylon. And while I understood the stories I was still yet unclear about the spiritual significance of this word and what exactly the Lord is talking about. Wind or Windstorm?

Greetings in the Lord! What happens when the leadership in a land becomes greedy, even exceedingly greedy, for gain?  When they use every means at their disposal to steal from the people they should be guiding with good judgments?  Even more, when those appointed by the Lord to speak against this injustice refuse to speak out and instead collaborate with these leaders, also demanding payment and kickbacks for their services, then top it all off by using their public positions to say, "Peace and prosperity are in store for the land under this leadership!"  What happens then? Darkness Over Silicon Valley

Greetings in the Lord~ This prophetic word comes from Amos 7:7-9 and it has to do with God showing Amos a vision of a wall being measured against a plumb line.       And the Lord replied, "I will test My people with this plumb line.  I will no longer ignore all their sins.  The pagan shrines of your ancestors will be ruined, and the temples of Israel will be destroyed; I will bring the dynasty of King Jeroboam to a sudden end."  Amos 7:8b-9 A plumb line is used to make sure of the straightness of a wall, for it will eventually fall if it is not straight.  This prophetic word is in reference to the high tech and social media giants of Silicon Valley -- the Lord is saying that He is going to test them to see if they are true to plumb, i.e. if  they are walking in integrity in their business practices and dealings with people.  Already, it is beyond obvious to most people that this is NOT the case (especially given the most recent action of...

The Deep Waters of Silicon Valley

Greetings in the Lord! Recently, I gave a talk about China's social credit system and its possible significance for us in the West.  There are many reasons for this, but namely, because electronic data, in use with algorithms and artificial intelligence, is the wave of the future.  In fact, high tech elites and academic scholars alike are pushing a sort of new religion from Silicon Valley based on their vision of these things.  Well, while they might be right in that high technology and the internet are rapidly changing our global societies, I am also reminded of two simple proverbs: The words of the mouth are deep waters, but the fountain of wisdom is a rushing stream. Summer Storms Are Brewing

Greetings in the Lord! Is anyone else just sick and tired of hearing and reading all of the contempt, lies and mockery coming from Trump's enemies?  I mean, seriously, how much venom can people have?  But then I am quickly reminded that we war not with flesh and blood, but with powers and rulers of darkness--yet our King reigns far higher, "far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in this present age but in the one to come.  And God placed all things under His feet and appointed Him to be head over everything for the Church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way." Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Psalm 63: "O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. Faith To Move Mountains

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Matthew 17:18-20~ "Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment. Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, "Why coudn't we drive it out?" He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." ~Recently the Lord gave me a vision of a huge, snow-capped blue mountian off in the distance.
