The Willingness to Hear the Horn of Deborah!

Greetings in Christ! Today's scripture is from Judges 5, the song of Deborah. V.8) "When they chose new gods, war came to the city gates, and not a shield or spear was seen among forty thousand in Israel." And so it is in America: we are a completely idolatrous culture without a care; lying on our soft beds at night and leather chairs in the day. We have no idea how to fight against the enemy and his tricks: materialism, arrogance, promiscuity, humanistic ideas, and 'political correctness.' We promote theologies of divison and judging others, while we preach unbalanced theologies on prosperity and grace which nullifies the power of Christ with unbelief, apathy, and idleness. Eternal Life

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from 1 Samuel chapter 28:13-15a and Matthew 27:52-53. "The king (Saul) said to her, "Don't be afraid. What do you see?" The woman said, "I see a spirit coming up out of the ground. "What does he look like?" he asked. "An old man wearing a robe is coming up," she said. Then Saul knew it was Samuel, and he bowed down and prostrated himself with his face to the ground. Samuel said to Saul, "Why have you disturbed me by bringing me up?" (1 Samuel 28:13-15a) "The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus' resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people." Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Matthew 17:18-20~ "Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that moment. Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, "Why coudn't we drive it out?" He replied, "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." ~Recently the Lord gave me a vision of a huge, snow-capped blue mountian off in the distance. As I stood there admiring the view, a man came to me and told me we were going there to: "Speak to the mountain." Greetings in the Lord! Well, there has been a lot of teaching among evangelical and prophetic circles in the American Church about the significance of the four blood moons coinciding with the Jewish festivals.  Historically, there have been major events involving Israel during this time (you can learn more by watching or reading what John Hagee and others are teaching on YouTube or in their books), but I will only share what the Lord has shown me. Greetings in the Lord! As I was praying today and pondering in my heart some recent happenings, or non-happenings as it were, the Lord said " Judges 3 ." So I got out my Bible and began to read: These are the nations the Lord left to test all those Israelites who had not experienced any of the wars in Canaan (He did this only to teach warfare to the descendants of the Israelites who had not had previous battle experience): the five rulers of the Philistines, all the Canaanites, the Sidonians , and the Hivites living in the Lebanon mountains...They were left to test the Israelites to see whether they would obey the Lord's commands, which He had given their forefathers through Moses. Hmm ...OK, so these Israelites were not familiar with war, or for us nowadays, it is just like Christians not knowing about spiritual warfare, the need for true repentance, or still having to learn about spiritual discernment and wisdom. Jeroboam Hangs in the Balance

Greetings in the Lord~ You know how sometimes, when we have one disaster come along and we think it is the biggest problem that we've ever had to deal with, but later on something else comes up that makes that earlier "disaster" pale by comparison?  Yeah, we all can relate to that.  Well, at the moment, some pretty big situations are hanging in a balance and decisions have to be made, albeit, behind closed doors, far from view (and input) of the common person.  Yes, certain national leaders are milling over a potential scenario--would a "kinder, gentler North Korea" be in our best interest?  A prettier face giving up more control and access and giving less headaches?  Would it be enough to change the narrative of a stupid mistake made in a lab?  Will others play along for the sake of harmony--political, economic and otherwise?    I'm the type of person that really enjoys competition, whether a board game, cards, sports, you name it.  A go...
