Our Hope is in You

Greetings in the Lord!

Today's word comes to us as a teaching; for if you've been discerning in your spirit that you ought to pray for your country, the word from the Lord today will guide you. It comes from Jeremiah 14:19-22:
"Have You rejected Judah completely? Do You despise Zion? Why have You afflicted us so that we cannot be healed? We hoped for peace but no good has come, for a time of healing but there is only terror. O Lord, we acknowledge our wickedness and the guilt of our fathers; we have indeed sinned against You. For the sake of Your Name do not despise us; do not dishonor Your glorious throne. Remember Your covenant with us and do not break it. Do any of the worthless idols of the nations bring rain? Do the skies themselves send down showers? No, it is You, O Lord our God. Therefore our hope is in You, for You are the One who does all this."

Witch of Endor Be Revealed and Rendered Powerless

  Greetings in the Lord~ Well, Trump's in office and the predicted fireworks show has been non-stop. At first, it seemed a bit dramatic, like he was taking on issues that were out in left field and picking unnecessary fights with countries that are not typically in the U.S. news cycle.  It was a little hard to follow his thinking....at first.  But as most things Trump-related, the truth of a matter reveals itself in short time, thus prompting the current adage of: "Trump was right."  But this latest dispute he had with the president of Ukraine seems a bit different to me.   On the surface, it was dealing with a subject that has gotten a lot of press and dollars from the U.S.--the war in the Ukraine.  However, as I watched the early clips of their much publicized spat, I heard in my spirit: "The witch of Endor," over and over.  Hmmm, this is referring to the passage in 1 Samuel 28.  The prophet Samuel has just died and King Saul finds himself ...

The Lord Our Protector

Greetings prayer warriors! Take your place and petition the Lord today for safety and His protection. For the word today is an unashamed cry for deliverance: "Rescue me, O Lord, from evil men; protect me from men of , who devise evil plans in their hearts and stir up war every day. They make their tongues as sharp as a serpent's; the poison of vipers is on their lips...O Sovereign Lord, my strong deliverer, who shields my head in the day of battle--do not grant the wicked their desires, O Lord; do not let their plans succeed, or they will become proud...Let slanderers not be established in the land; may disaster hunt down men of . Favor of the Lord

Greetings in the Lord! Yesterday I received an encouraging word from a friend about the favor of God, but I'm not sure I really received it. Today, however, the Lord said it, so I not only received it, but am passing along the blessing to all of you. Enjoy! God is so fun...today's scripture is from Hebrews 12:14-29 and completely picks up where we left off of from yesterday's scripture in Deuteronomy 5. :) "Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. Be A Fruitful Branch

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from John 15:1-2, 4, 16: "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful...Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine.
