Rouse Yourselves for Battle

Greetings in the Lord!

"Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare for war! Rouse the warriors! Let all the fighting men draw near and attack. Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Let the weakling say, 'I am strong!'...Bring down your warriors, O Lord!" Joel 3:9-11b.

"Swing the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, trample the grapes, for the winepress is full and the vats overflow--so great is their wickedness! Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision." Joel 3:13-14.

"I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice He judges and makes war....He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and His name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following Him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of His mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter. He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On His robe and on His thigh He has this name written: King of Kings and Lord of Lords." Revelation 19:11-16.

~We are entering a season of spiritual advancement where the Lord is wanting us to speak His Word as the Spirit leads. Know and understand this--there will be conflict and spilled blood of the saints. We are being called to proclaim Truth to overcome present ideas, opinions, theologies, traditions, and cultural and modern 'wisdoms'--strongholds of the enemy.

This is a season of the light becoming much brighter very quickly and transforming lives--just like the stoning of Stephen. Out of conflict and loss comes advancement for the kingdom of God and a shrinking back of darkness.

"Jesus replied, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. The man who loves his life will lose it, while the man who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. Now my heart is troubled, and what shall I say? 'Father, save me from this hour?' No, it was for this very reason I came to this hour. Father, glorify your name!....Now is the time for judgment of this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out." John 12:23-28, 31.

~This is a season of persecution for Spirit-filled believers...but it is also the beginning of our finest hour in Christ. Rise up and take your places! Do not fear the trials ahead of you, for your strength is in the Lord. He gives the words to speak, the victory, and from Him is our reward when we have done all that he has asked of us. Praise be to His name, and to Jesus Christ, His Son.

~Be blessed and be a blessing.
