Chaos and Oppression, Then the Re-Installation

 Greetings in the Lord~

For the past couple of weeks I've been reading from Amos 3-4, Ezekiel 23 and Zechariah 3.  Some of the things I have been discerning from these scriptures is that a major event -- a form of God's judgment -- is coming down the pike and will have the effect of ushering in God's "reset" plan for this nation.  Now when I say a "major event," it still feels like that is a multifaced thing, in that, one major event with lots of accompanying other instances that don't seem related in the natural but are related to the decree of judgment being executed.  Therefore, I do expect that the pinnacle of this judgment will be a change in leadership, but that the financial and security threats that are happening (at the border and in the economic exploitation of resources, technology, etc. from foreign national companies/people coming to plunder the land) is already at work.  

I would also include other types of attacks--cyber, banking, informational, militarily, etc. to happen and have been happening.  The recent disappearance of a top U.S. military jet?  Hmmm...it fits.  You see, these scripture verses talk about the Lord allowing enemy nations to come and plunder, overrun, and oppress the land as a form of judgment.  Plundering is an economic and material circumstance, but the verses also talk about enemy nations coming to witness the "chaos and oppression" of the land.  Therefore, I would expect that at the execution of the pinnacle of this judgment (and before) there will be public protests, violence, and all sorts of chaos to break out as people are angry at the oppression/hardships that come on the land.  In other words, the pot that is already boiling will be coming to full boil soon--and it will spill over and get ugly before it gets better.  

So this is where Zechariah 3 comes in.  This passage of scripture is a prophetic word given as a vision of Joshua the high priest being brought before the Lord with the Accuser making vehement accusations against him.  

And the Lord said to Satan, "I, the Lord, reject your accusations, Satan.  Yes, the Lord, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you.  This man is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire."  

Joshua's clothing was filthy as he stood there before the angel.  So the angel said to the others standing there, "Take off his filthy clothes."  And turning to Joshua He said, "See, I have taken away your sins, and now I am giving you these fine new clothes."  Then I said, "They should also place a clean turban on his head."  So they put a clean priestly turban on his head and dressed him in new clothes while the angel of the Lord stood by.

Then the angel of the Lord spoke very solemnly to Joshua and said, "This is what the Lord of Heaven's Armies says: If you follow My ways and carefully serve Me, then you will be given authority over My Temple and its courtyards.  I will let you walk among these others standing here.  Listen to Me, O Joshua the high priest, and all you other priests.  You are symbols of things to come.  Soon I am going to bring My servant, the Branch.  Now look at the signet jewel I have set before Joshua, a single stone with seven facets.  I will engrave an inscription on it, says the Lord of Heaven's Armies, and I will remove the sins of this land in a single day."  Zechariah 3:2-9     

This passage talks about God rejecting the accusations against Joshua and cleansing and reinstating the high priest to govern over the land again, thereby ending the judgment coming on the land.  Praise God!  So we can trust, that after the coming struggles and calamities and attacks on the land to humble it, God wants to bring restoration back to us, for that is the purpose of judgment anyway.  Mercy triumphs judgment.  

So, I expect soon, that it will be pretty chaotic with all sorts of disasters and attacks and upheavals coming to the United States, including the removal of current leadership, and in God's perfect timing and despite the fierce accusations of the enemy of our souls against God's anointed ones, the Lord Jesus Christ will reinstate His chosen one to rule over the land again--and I think we all know who this is referring to!   So I pray as always -- let the Lord's will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Favor of the Lord

Grace to Overcome

Greetings in the Lord! Today's verse comes from Psalm 124 and actually builds off of the blog from Job, chapter 2. V. 6-8) "Praise be to the Lord, who has not let us be torn by their teeth. Blessed Reception

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word is from Matthew 10:11-14~ "Whatever town or village you enter, serach for some worthy person there and stay at his house until you leave. As you enter the home, give it your greeting (blessing). If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you.
