Double-Edged Sword Unsheathed

Greetings in the Lord!
Today's word comes from Psalm 149.  The theme is simple: Praising God for bestowing the honor of salvation to His people, and for arming them to execute His judgments against those kingdoms hostile to God.
"Praise the Lord.
Sing to the Lord a new song, His praise in the assembly of the saints....For the Lord takes delight in His people; He crowns the humble with salvation.  Let the saints rejoice in this honor and sing for joy on their beds.
May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands, to inflict vengeance on the nations and punishments on the peoples, to bind their kings with fetters, their nobles with shackles of iron, to carry out the sentence written against them.  This is the glory of all the saints.
Praise the Lord."
Yeah, a little aggressive sounding, huh?  Well, in the New Testament that sword is a "sword of the Spirit" to overcome spiritual powers arrayed against God and His people.  But I believe God does indeed use both.  I discern that this word is again pertaining to the Syrian conflict, and it doesn't surprise me that the US is now getting involved.  I have published a couple times already that it is the will of God that Assad be removed from office, the Lord's decree, if you will.  While we prophecy in part and do not know how the Lord will fullfill His words, there is no doubt in my mind that it will be done according to His will.
On August 11th, in the morning I awoke from a God dream.  I saw war machines moving in the ocean, not down deep as if to be covert, but only 5-25 feet beneath the surface of the water.  In addition to submarines, there were fighter jets and other combat vehicles.  Then my vision moved to see a huge US passport standing erect in the desert--reminding me of the statue from Nebuchadnezzar's dream.  On this giant passport were red circles painted on it, like target spots.  I discerned that the US was being prepared to get involved militarily somewhere again.  The Lord showed me a very similar dream before the Iraq invasion.
To confirm my dream the Lord led me to Habakkuk 1:5-11)
"Look at the nations and watch--and be utterly amazed.  For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.  I am raising up the Babylonians, that ruthless and impetuous people, who sweep across the whole earth to seize dwelling places not their own.  They are a feared and dreaded people; they are a law to themselves and promote their own honor."
"Their horses are swifter than leopards, fiercer than wolves at dusk.  Their cavalry gallops headlong; their horsemen come from afar.  They fly like a vulture swooping to devour; they all come bent on violence.  Their hordes advance like a desert wind and gather prisoners like sand.  They deride kings and scoff at rulers.  They laugh at all fortified cities; they build earthen ramps and capture them.  Then they sweep past like the wind and go on--guilty men, whose own strength is their god."
This is a season where the Lord is fullfilling His words very quickly, and the will of God is on the offensive.  The Lord hears the cry of His people and responds mightily.  Right now, His people say: "Rulers persecute me without cause, but my heart trembles at Your word."  Psalm 119:161
Praise the Lord whose salvation is promised to those who love Him.
~Be blessed and be a blessing.
