Born This Day!

Greetings in the Lord!

Today's word is exciting, although it might take a moment for it to come to light publicly, it is and already has happened.  From Luke 2:1-7 we read about Jesus being born.

Verse 6-7) And while they were there, the time came for her baby to be born.  She gave birth to her firstborn son.  She wrapped him snugly in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no lodging available for them.

Indeed, this very hour a "birth" has happened--a God-ordained conception has come to fruition and is now a living "baby."  Praise God for His goodness!  Just like in the days of Jesus, his birth took place humbly, under the radar and away from public eyes, amidst all the pomp and circumstance and activities of the day!  While it was foretold years before and many had constructed their own ideas and expectations about how he would be born, where and to whom, and for what purpose, the natural birth took place unassumingly in a most modest way, out of sight.  Amazing!

Right now there are many such "births" taking place--praise God for each and every one!  Whether for nations or individuals that have been "expecting," the day of delivery has arrived despite all of the hindrances, distractions, and discouragements that have tried to prevent the deliveries--God is good. No doubt, our adventures and the dramas of life will continue, but God has fulfilled His promises in His unique and powerful way this season.  Praise be to God, our faithful Keeper of Promises.

~Be blessed and be a blessing.
