Checkmate!

Greetings in the Lord!

Today while in prayer the Holy Spirit put this bold and sensitive word on my heart:

"The enemy has overplayed his hand again.  Watch as I begin to reveal true motives about the meeting with Kim Jong Un.  Trump will retreat rapidly and make a checkmate move.  And the world will say--'Well played, Mr. Trump.'"

 Isaiah 43:11-12  "I, yes I, am the Lord, and there is no other Savior.  First I predicted your rescue, then I saved you and proclaimed it to the world.  No other foreign god has ever done this.  You are witnesses that I AM the only God," says the Lord.

Obey the King

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Ecclesiastes 8:2-8.  It might be a little hard to relate to if you live in a nation that elects its officials and rulers and has set limitations for the length of their rule, or set terms in office, as today's passage discusses wisdom for relating to and living under a king.  However, once that person is in office, their rule does simulate a kingship in many ways, and so we can still learn from the wise sayings of these verses.  "Obey the king's command, I say, because you took an oath before God.  Do not be in a hurry to leave the king's presence. Do not stand up for a bad cause, for he will do whatever he pleases.  Since a king's word is supreme, who can say to him, 'What are you doing?'" Blazing Iron of Harvey

Greetings in the Lord, In 2003-2006, the Lord had given me many words about all the troubles that would be heading to the United States: natural disasters (Hurricane Katrina), financial disasters (Wall Street 2008), and the coming of a false light (Obama) that would lead many people astray and usher in a time of great spiritual backsliding in the United States.  These, among other things, were foretold by the Lord and had significance beyond their obvious immediate impact and result.  Therefore, it behooves us to scratch beneath the surface and allow the Holy Spirit to explain "Why?"  Foretold events are significant and go beyond natural circumstances.  It is important to leave conventional wisdom and the mystique of science and technology to sit at the feet of the Holy Spirit.  He is the only one who can explain, "Why?" and illumine the Word of God to the deeper layers of meaning encased within. Commercial Giant About to Fall

  Greetings in the Lord~ Today's prophetic word comes from Ezekiel 27 & 28, with both chapters basically decreeing a word of judgment against the city and ruler of Tyre, and indirectly, the demonic spirit that has been influencing and working through Tyre's ruler behind the scenes.   It opens with a beautiful allegory of the city of Tyre being like this amazing and formidable mercantile ship, crewed with the most skilled mariners and filled with a spectrum of cargo to ship all throughout the furthest reaches of that time.  Tyre was the spectacular door to the commercial world, whose harbor drew the fineries of the whole land in and out to it's hungry clients, who couldn't wait to become rich in the trading or popular with showing off the luxuries they purchased.  But more than luxuries--everything passed through it's docks, from food, to riches, to cloth and even people!  Yes, even slaves were shipped all throughout the land from this port. Greetings in the Lord! Today when the Lord led me to read Lamentations chapter 1, my heart sank. Oh, how hard it is to give a mournful message to a nation that knows neither humility or shame. Selah. I pause here to let the Holy Spirit bring tears to your eyes to weep over the Word of the Lord today, for surely "the Lord loves a contrite and broken heart." V. 6-9 "All the splendor has departed from the Daughter of Zion. Her princes are like deer that find no pasture; in weakness they have fled before the pursurer. Jump for My Purifying Love

Greetings in the Lord! Today's scripture will be a combination of Job 2 and Malachi 3:16-4:3---sometimes the Lord has to use two (or more!) scripture references for me to discern the word that He is trying to tell me! :) In Job 2 we read about the second test of Job: being faithful to God during a bodily affliction. In fact, it seems that much of the book of Job revolves around this question: How will a good man act, and what should he think, when he is tested by suffering? Job tells us, "Shall we accept good from God and not trouble?" Job2:10b. Job reveals some deep insights for us. First, we can receive good things from God and we can receive bad things. I realize that this is a very troubling concept for our American church, one so addicted to comfort and blessings. But do not allow yourself to think like Job's erroneous friends: our testings and trials are not the result of an angry God punishing us...in fact, quite the opposite. With Uplifted Hand He Moves Swiftly

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word is from Isaiah 26:9-11: "My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you. When your judgements come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness. Though grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness; even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil and regard not the majesty of the Lord. O Lord, your hand and is lifted high, but they do not see it. Let them see your zeal for your people and be put to shame; let the fire reserved for your enemies consume them." The Lord is moving mightily among us, can you feel His Presence? And just as the verses above say, we are seeing the judgements of God being carried out and also His zeal for the saints.
