Greetings in the Lord!

I just wanted to write and give a warm best wishes to all this holiday season! It has been laid on my heart to take some time off from writing and spend it resting close to the Master for the month. I thank God for each and every one of you and pray that you will enjoy the holiday season and find some together time with Jesus as well. Whether it's Christmas caroling, having friends and loved ones over for fellowship, or reaching out to whoever the Lord puts in your path this season, may the love of Christ be seen on your face and His peace and joy overflowing in your heart.

Beware of Karen and the Nicolaitans

Greetings in the Lord~ Last week the Methodists as a denomination met at their General Conference in Charlotte, NC to discuss and vote on many matters, including the controversial topic of allowing actively practicing homosexual persons to be ordained as pastors.  The vote was pretty overwhelmingly in support of that issue. Not only that, but they decided that gay marriages can be performed by such clergy in Methodist churches that are agreeable to this taking place in their church.   Needless to say, this approval goes far beyond finding common ground and unity within the denomination, as it basically endorses a tenet that is not compatible with Scripture.  But maybe more importantly, it is a beginning of fulfillment of prophetic End Time warnings given all throughout the New Testament.   These warnings can be found most directly in the 2nd chapter of the book of Revelation in reference to the sect of the Nicolaitans.  These Nicolaitan "Christians" ta...

Feet Carrying Good News in the Mountains

Greetings in the Lord! Well, often the New Year can usher in more than a change of mind and heart, but also a change in location as well. As of January 12t h , I have moved to Korea to teach English for 2010. And what a pleasant surprise it has turned out to be! With a group of 11 Americans I made my way over and am busy teaching at an English school for Korean students--elementary all the way up to businessmen and Korean teachers in professional development. Our school is nestled in the mountains and has a pretty view from any angle, but is still conveniently located near to a large metropolitan city. Our students come from all over the country,however, and usually live on campus for a week or more. Currently our school is being replicated in several other countries for its unique teaching style and philosophy--complete English immersion in a pseudo city-like environment. Out with the Old, In with the New Covenant of Peace

Greetings in the Lord! Well, here it is, 2017, and only 6 days from Trump's inauguration as President of the United States.  However, you feel about that, let me assure you, the will of God came to pass.  God does not guarantee that we will agree with all that HE determines, yet a spirit sensitive and submitted to the leading of the Holy Spirit would have recognized the need for a change in leadership in this country anyway.  We had a leadership that lied to us, took advantage of us, caused serious problems near and far, and did all of this under the cloak of smooth talk and devious deception.  My father would say this was "Chicago politics," but I digress. Greetings in the Lord, Last night I had an interesting dream that I will share today.  In my dream, I saw Biden leading a video conference meeting with many world leaders.  They were distracted and bored and were speaking to people off-screen because Biden made no sense when he spoke.  Finally, Putin interrupted him and said disgustedly, "I'm sick of this -- you are no leader!  You are an illegitimate leader that stole an election but you are completely incapable of leading!"   A few loud chuckles came from the other leaders as they were looking side to side with smirks on their faces.  "We know very well about these kind of elections," Putin joked, and more laughter rose up.  Then he went on to basically say that he was not going to follow his lead or decision-making on anything and asked to all the other leaders: "How many others feel the way I do?"   One by one all the other world leaders raised their hands -- a complete consensus.  T...

Selfie of Folly

Greetings in the Lord~ Well, by now I'm sure much of the world has not only heard about the shooting incident in Orlando, but has formed some sort of opinion on the topic.  I typically don't share or compare too much of my personal opinion, but just try to convey what the Lord wants me to share with others.  And in this particular case, there is both a happening and word to give. At about 11:30 pm Saturday night (WST), I saw a young man posing with his cell phone in the lobby area of a friend's building.  Normally, I wouldn't have given it a second thought, as college students are always posing for a selfie.  However, this young man wanted people's attention--he was posing for the people walking past, with an arrogant smirk on his face, hand confidently held to his chin and eyebrows raised.  I looked around the room again to see who he was showing off to but there was no one with him.  He was alone, and Arab students tended to always hang out in pairs/g...
