Praise Report

Hallelujah!

At the end of January the Lord gave me a word (which was published on this site, then disappeared with 2 others!?) that He was going to deliver the Christian missionary captives in Iraq. While originally there were 4 captives--one was shot, condolences to the grieving family--the other 3 were rescued today!! Amen and amen!! God is so-o-o good and true to His word.

Anyway, just wanted to send this out as I run off to the airport.

Greetings in the Lord! Well, it's still January so let me acknowledge the New Year, 2012--may it be a wonderful one for you, faithful believer. On that note, I'd like to take a few minutes and share what I've been receiving from the Lord these past weeks in regards to this new year. Bulls of Bashan

Greetings in the Lord, On Monday I awoke from a troubling dream.  In the dream I was in a house that was familiar to me, but it was filled with large animals, even the cats were enormous in size.  But the animal that caught my attention was a big, grey bull.  Its face was distorted and ugly, almost looking like a cross between a hippopotamus and bull, but the body was definitely that of a bull.  Unlike a regular bull, this one had little hair and its skin was a dead grey color.  "Strong death" is what I thought.  But instead of being afraid of this mutant animal the people in the house were stroking its face and saying how much they adored it.  Ugh!  They loved dearly this abnormal creature and were so happy to have it in the house. Rejecting a Prophet Losing a Reward

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Jeremiah 29:24-32; "Tell Shemaiah the Nehelamite, 'This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel says: You sent letters in your own name to all the people in Jerusalem, to Zephaniah son of Maaseiah the priest, and to all the other priests. You said to Zephaniah, "The Lord has appointed you priest in place of Jehoiada to be in charge of the house of the Lord; you should put any madman who acts like a prophet into the stocks and neck-irons. So why have you not reprimanded Jeremiah from Anathoth, who poses as a prophet among you? He has sent this message to us in Babylon: It will be a long time. Look and See Before It Is Hidden

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Luke 19:41-44: "As he (Jesus) approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it and said, " If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace--but now it is hidden from your eyes. The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God's coming to you ." Today's scripture reminds us not to take for granted the presence of the Lord, for indeed, He is moving mightily among us now. How precious the time was when the Lord preached to the multitudes along the hillsides and villages, healing the masses and having dinner at people's houses....yet they were unaware of and did not fully understand the miracles of those moments. Immigration Update

Greetings in the Lord! Just two days after posting the word from the Lord about the US-Mexican Immigration issue, US Immigration officials made over 1,100 arrests at more than 40 sites nationwide at a company called IFCO Systems for immigration charges, and two other companies in several cities pleaded guilty on similar charges. If convicted, fines could run as high as $250,000 per illegal worker at IFCO, with a 10-year prison sentence for the business managers. The US Immigration officials found terrible living conditions for the illegal workers, some living in groups of 10 to 20. Many businesses wer accused of not paying over-time to the illegal employees, who were being set up for deportation. Willing or not, these released "captives" will soon be reunited with their families in Mexico, while US Immigration officials promise to increase their down on US businesses who look to cash in illegally on "cheap labor." Action Louder Than Words

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Ezekiel 33:30-33: "As for you, son of man, your countrymen are talking together about you by the walls and at the doors of the houses, saying to each other, 'Come and hear the message that has come from the Lord.' My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to listen to your words, but they do not put it into practice. With their mouths they express devotion, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain. Indeed, to them you are nothing more than one who sings love songs with a beautiful voice and plays an instrument well, for they hear your words but do not put them into practice.
