Praise Report

Hallelujah!

At the end of January the Lord gave me a word (which was published on this site, then disappeared with 2 others!?) that He was going to deliver the Christian missionary captives in Iraq. While originally there were 4 captives--one was shot, condolences to the grieving family--the other 3 were rescued today!! Amen and amen!! God is so-o-o good and true to His word.

Anyway, just wanted to send this out as I run off to the airport.

Summer Prophetic Words Taking Root

End of Year Protection

  Greetings in the Lord~ Well, it's that time of year again; the time when pagans look to make their strategic year-end blood sacrifice for a "prosperous" new year.  I've been keeping tabs for nearly 20 years now on which industry seems to be the most vulnerable and without a doubt it is the entertainment sector--whether its movies, TV, or music, it leads by a landslide.  As of late, talented (and healthy) directors have borne the brunt of the burden, probably because there are so many online platforms now competing for viewership.   Prior to that, it was the older icons of the music and film industry, those that were probably deemed more valuable offed than still with us.   Other strong contenders for being targeted are conservative political commentators and online influencers with a large following, those in the fashion industry, and finally, those in professional sports, especially in UFC and Euro soccer.  Anyway, for whatever reason, more and...

Two Wrongs Do Not Make a Right

Greetings in the Lord! In the 1st and 2nd chapters of the book of Amos, we see the prophet being called to decree God's judgment on Israel's neighbors and their cities: Damascus, Gaza, Ashkelon, Ekron, Tyre, Edom, Ammon, and Moab.  They are under His wrath for their continual violence and evil practices.  Then the prophet goes on to also decree the same to Israel and Judah, although their sins differed, in that, while the other nations violated the generally recognized laws of humanity, Israel and Judah disobeyed the revealed law of God.  Their sins exposed the general moral deterioration of the nation in light of the revealed word of God that they had.  In essence, they were living like all their neighbors. Yo, Ho, Ho and a Bottle of Rum

Greetings in the Lord~ Well, this week is more of the same from the Lord; prophetic words addressing corruption, exposing sin, and recalibrating the land in the US, both in and outside of the American Church. This morning I had a dream in which I was walking along a trail in the woods which connected two gathering sites some distance apart.  I was alone on the trail in this dense forest and was enjoying my walk when I heard footsteps running up behind me.  Scared, I quickly hid in the brush and waited to see who it was.  A big man wearing a bright blue jacket came running by, and in his hand he held a long leash connected to a much smaller, weaker man that he was almost dragging along as his captive. Fires at Our Shores

Greetings in the Lord! Sometimes there are verses in the Word that really make me scratch my head, like this one for example: "Blows and wounds cleanse away evil, and beatings purge the inmost being." Proverbs 20:30 Now I know there are several good Proverbs that give guidance about raising godly children and even what to do with foolish people, and they both seem to advocate a certain amount of forcefulness, but the above verse is almost alarming! Obviously, it is saying that sometimes it is necessary to use severe punishment to restrain evil or deter wicked behavior. The Lord also lead me to Psalm 106, which is a confession of Israel's long history of rebellion and a prayer for His mercy to save them again. The psalm tells of the Lord using severe judgments to bring about correction for their wicked behavior. Instruments of Righteousness

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word is quite amazing when you consider that I was praying for the persecuted Christians all around the world.  I was asking the Lord, "Lord, we read that when the early Church was being heavily persecuted, that it had the reverse effect of growing the Church's numbers--why are we not seeing that now in Syria and Iraq and other places?"  But the Lord responded with this in my heart: "You will see that.  Soon, at the sight of the violent, needless killing of my innocents, conversions will break out among the enemies' camp, so much so, that they will begin to shield the atrocities from their own ranks, fearful that many will leave the fight at the sight of the injustices.  And the 'mystery of persecution' will bear its perfect fruit in those places." Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Luke 12:29-36~ "As the crowds increased, Jesus said, "This is a wicked generation. It asks for a miraculous sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah. For as Jonah was a sign to the Ninevites, so also will the Son of Man be to this generation.....for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now one greater than Jonah is here." "No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead he puts it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light. Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are good, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are bad, your body also is full of darkness. See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness.
