Keep Your Tongue From Evil

Today's verse comes from Psalm 34:11-14.
"Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it."

Word for 2018

Greetings in the Lord! Well, I finally received what I discern is a prophetic word for 2018 and I'm happy to share it with you.  Interestingly enough, on March 1st at 5:20 in the morning I felt the urge to get out of bed and go look out of the window.  In the night sky I saw a big ball of red--a blood moon?  It was very large and looked almost surreal by how red and big it was; it seemed to confirm my notion that we are entering a new and special season.  Anyway, the word for 2018 is based on two Scripture passages: 2 Samuel 8 and 1 Chronicles 18.  These are remarkably similar passages as they both tell about the exploits and victories of David in the land.   Nice one, huh?  So for us we can decree that 2018 will be a year for victory and of overcoming and eventually collecting the spoils of war (recompense for our troubles).  I don't know about you but I'm excited about this word! Justice Prevails

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Proverbs 11:21~ "Be sure of this: The wicked will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will go free." ~I discern that in today's word we are to declare: "Justice! In the name of the Lord!" and pray that the Lord's Sovereign mercy and judgement be released into our circumstances, lives, families, work environments, cities, and nations to right the wrongs that have been going on. Expect that the Lord will show Himself in very tangible ways: the recovery of lost incomes, the return of loved ones, restoration of health, just court decisions being given, etc. Freedom and prosperity in the name of the Lord! In Jesus' name we pray, Amen. ~Be blessed and be a blessing.

Big Green Frog Shows His Teeth

Greetings in the Lord! Just before waking up this morning I saw a vision of a large (size of a very fat cat), putrid green frog sitting next to my bed.  It just sat there, looking at me with its mouth completely wide open, exposing its sharp black teeth to me.  In my vision, I called for help in catching this huge frog.  As two people came to round it up, the frog jumped back and forth to elude them, then jumped out of my vision. As a sat up in my bed thinking, "What on earth was that?" I recalled a passage of Scripture from Revelation 16:  "Then I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet.  They are spirits of demons performing miraculous signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty."  Revelation 16:13-14 Those thre...

Jesus-Friendly Banking

Greetings in the Lord! Today I will share a common passage that has new, modern-day relevance for us. It is from Mark 10:17-25, the story of the rich, young man. We know the story: a young, wealthy man comes to Jesus and asks, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?" Jesus responds by telling him no one is good but God alone, or implying, no one can be good of his own efforts; then, he reminds him of the Lord's commandments for us to live by. However, Jesus knows the root of the issue is not about good conduct (works), but rather about what the man truly relies upon in his heart. But Jesus also recognizes the sincere earnestness in the man's question and prepares to lovingly address the man's misguided heart attachments to wealth while inviting him to follow him. North Korea & South Korea

Greetings in the Lord! It is such an honor to share this next word of the Lord with you.  Why God choses to use us humans as His servants when He is more than capable of doing it all Himself is beyond me, in the first place.  Anyway, to God be all the glory. Can't See the Forest Thru All the Trees

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Micah chapters 1-2. Those chapters speak of God's intense disapproval of the prevalent idolatry, corruption, and immorality in Samaria and Jerusalem. While in verses 2:12-13 God promises deliverance for the remnant of faithful believers in those nations, overall the chapters foretell of certain judgment to Israel and Judah for their sinful ways (eathquakes and enemy attacks)...yet, false prophets spoke against the words of Micah. 2:6-7) "Do not prophesy," their prophets say. "Do not prophesy about these things; disgrace will not overtake us." Should it be said, O house of Jacob: "Is the Spirit of the Lord angry? Does he do such things?" The answer is a most resounding 'Yes!' The Lord loves us too much to let His people run rampant in sin all their lives--thinking that right is wrong and wrong is right. Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Psalm 1: "Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgement, NOR sinners in the assembly of the righteous .
