Keep Your Tongue From Evil

Today's verse comes from Psalm 34:11-14.
"Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it."

When In Doubt, Throw Them Out

  Greetings in the Lord~ During prayer today, I discerned some details about the previous word I published that I would like to pass along.  In short, I kept hearing in my heart, "When in doubt, throw them out."   It is in regards to the people around DJT--and others, who may have a big target on their backs during this end-of-year sacrificial time.  The meaning is clear: throw out those around you that are giving off small hints of treachery and little peculiarities that cause you to do a double take.  For I discern, there is a chain of betrayal at work--first is the one who knows the schedule very well, even a planner of sorts; their job is just to relay that schedule to others.  In that crowd it becomes a slippery slope with one, one who has a double and greedy heart who has already set up a way to hide and re-invest the money quickly--crypto, block chain? Not sure, but they pass along details that highlight vulnerable times against their targeted person...

The Trial of the People

Greetings in the Lord~ This week the Supreme Court heard the arguments from the lawyers representing the (small group of) Colorado voters that wanted to have Trump removed from the state's ballot in the next election.  While their arguments were much less than convincing, in the bigger picture, the fact that the Supreme Court was even listening to their sophisticated whines has an important spiritual implication, as today's prophetic word comes from Micah 6.  This word has to do with the 'trial of the people,' as they represent just how far down and wide the rebellion against the Lord goes in the U.S. culture.  These folks are on trial with the Lord presiding, and it doesn't go well for them! Do Not Envy the Wicked

Greetings in the Lord! A couple of days ago I received a passage from Ezekiel 8.  It is a chapter sharing the vision the prophet Ezekiel was shown by the Lord while he was still yet living in Babylon. The vision showed all of the idol worship that was going on in the land of Israel (Jerusalem) at the time, from the religious leaders on down to the common people--it was thoroughly corrupted with idol worship.  More than that, it was the reason given for their captivity and exile to Babylon in the first place, though obviously, the people had not changed their ways even though they had gone through many hardships, foreign occupation, and exile since then.  They simply didn't "get it," nor did they want to, it seemed. The God of Mysteries is on the Move

Greetings in the Lord! About three weeks ago I turned to Daniel 2--the passage about Nebuchadnezzar's dream of the giant statue.  There were two things that stuck me as I read the story.  First, Nebuchadnezzar used the dream as a test for all of his "wise men"--tell me the dream and its meaning or die.  Nothing like being put to the test!  It seemed that God wanted to sift all of the white noise that was filling the king's ear and show him who was the real deal from among his counselors.  The king's rage at the wise men who said it couldn't be done was a righteous anger--he could see them for the charlatans that they were.    Daniel kept his cool and asked the commander of the king's guard for more time, then he got his praying buddies together to petition the Lord for an answer--and God responded!  The world has been full of such white noise for a long time--man's conventional wisdom will be put to the test and s...

Unfailing Promises of God

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from 2 Samuel 16. It is an account of more lowpoints in David's life, for sure. The first is when Ziba, the servant of Mephibosheth comes to David while he is fleeing Jerusalem from his son Absalom. Ziba is offering gifts to David to more or less take advantage of the political situation, ie, he sees an opportunity to inherit all of Mephibosheth's estate by telling David Mephibosheth has joined in the revolt against David. And since David is not sure about where anyone's loyalties stand at the moment, he assumes the betrayal is true and gives the estate to Ziba. The next story tells about Shimei, a relative of Saul, coming out to throw stones and dirt at David while cursing him. But instead of getting mad at him, David allows this abuse to continue, leaving open the possibility that maybe God really doesn't want him to be king anymore. Set Free From the Trap

Greetings in the Lord~ Today's prophetic word comes from Psalm 79, complete with accompanying dream.  It is a pretty intense psalm that uses very dramatic language to express the desperate cry of the people of God to the Lord for His saving grace and power, and ultimately, to rescue those in great need.  And it is the second psalm of petition and deliverance I've received on behalf of someone in the entertainment industry, for it is that time of year... Here am I--Send Me!

Greetings in the Lord! This morning in prayer I saw a vision of a giant United States flag blowing in the wind.  It was waving proudly, shame was being removed; it was being blessed by the nations again and spoken of with kindness.  And Americans began to feel happy to wear its colors, proudly lifting their heads as their hearts welled up in thankfulness to God for His many blessings on this country.  I saw people from all walks of life, skin color, and language start praising God for the United States. The red in the flag is the blood of Jesus and those who sacrificed their lives for this nation; the white is the purity and truth that will come forth again, and the blue, well this is special.  I felt that this blue stood for "prophetic," as a prominent prophetic voice will rise up in our nation, and from all over our land.  Prophetically, people will decree the words and truth of Jesus Christ, and it will cut through all the lies of the wicked: no ...
