Greetings in the Lord! Back in January while in prayer, the Lord showed me a vision of flames coming up from Mexico and all along the Southwest border of the United States.  This fire raged and burned hotly all across Arizona and began to glow hot with the heat of hatred.  The people were the bright embers and all who got involved got consumed with its rhetoric.  What were these fires, you ask?  The same fires that lit up in Europe over the prophet Muhammad cartoons.  At that time the Lord said, "May 26th," and I pondered the date in my heart.  It was Tuesday, what happened on Tuesday?  Was something approved and agreed to that confirmed the trouble to come?  Probably....but it's always hard to know those answers.  Instead we can know for sure that today is a sad day for Arizona--another prophet Muhammad cartoon expose is about to happen, and this outside of a mosque, no less.  On the surface it seems like the bold taking the bull by the horns, but I tell you today

Greetings in the Lord~ Over the past couple of weeks I've received warnings from the Lord to pray that "watchmen would return to their post," meaning, those prayerful believers whose role it is to pray and see danger before it comes and release an alarm to the Body of Christ.  Specifically, I felt led to pray for the Western Coast of America and as I prayed for God's protection to our border and for watchmen to see the danger coming, I had a vision.  In this vision, it was the dark of night and from the black waves below I saw a lighthouse on a jagged shoreline shining a beam of light over the waters to warn ships, and search out activity in the darkness below.  There were men--invaders, silently approaching the land, trying carefully to enter the shoreline unseen.  I felt that it was the Pacific Northwest of the United States, Portland/Seattle areas and that these invaders had taken the northern route from Russia to get here, although I'm doubtful they were

Greetings in the Lord~ It's been awhile since I've written but as usual, that is not an indication of inactivity.  Quite the opposite; God is moving in a powerful way these days and there have been some major fulfillment of His words that need to be celebrated. First of all, in March 18th, 2014 I posted a word from the Lord that specifically denounced the rhetoric and recruiting propaganda of Islamic jihadists.  The Lord was very clear in His verdict: "Not a word from their mouth can be trusted; their heart is filled with destruction.  Their throat is an open grave; with their tongue they speak deceit." "You are not a God that takes pleasure in evil; with you the wicked cannot dwell.  The arrogant cannot stand in your Presence; You hate all who do wrong.  You destroy those who tell lies; bloodthirsty and deceitful men the Lord abhors."  Psalm 5:4-9. Well, it's been a little while since my last post, but luckily February is a short month so it hasn't been that long.  Anyway, I will share a dream and word I received this morning. In my dream, I was telling a group of students that " Syria's hospitality is their saving grace ."  (It's true, too, their hospitality toward foreigners when I was there in 2004 was like none I witnessed and experienced anywhere in the world.  And it didn't matter the age or gender of the Syrian I came across either, their first words to me were always the same, "Welcome!") As we were discussing this and sharing how our countries compared, the dream slowly faded and I was now at my home.  It was late at night and for some reason I went to the front door to see something outside, was there someone at my door at this hour?  Opening the door and peering out, there was only the black night before me, with howling, chilled winds twisting the

For the past two days I've been led to read from the book of Jonah chapter 1.  In this passage the prophet has been given a mandate to go to Nineveh to preach against it, to tell them of God's coming wrath to them for their wickedness and idolatry...but the prophet flees on a boat in the opposite direction.  Well, try as he might, he cannot outrun God.  The Lord allows a storm to hit the waters he is sailing on to help change his mind, to get him back on the call for his life. "But Jonah had gone below deck, where he lay down and fell into a deep sleep.  The captain went to him and said, "How can you sleep?  Get up and call on your god!  Maybe  he will take notice of us, and we will not perish." That is the word for today--"Get up from your slumber!  Do the work God has called you to do.  It's time to face the music," says the Lord. Over the holiday season I spent some blessed time in California, not far from Laguna Beach area.  During this time the Lord showed me some wonderful things, altogether different from what I saw at the end of November in a very similar vision.  At that time, I saw storm clouds coming off the coast of California, tornadoes over the sea and yes, it was a short time after that southern California experienced those weather phenomenon.  But that's not the end of the story. At the end of December I saw another vision off of the coast of California, in what looked to be the same place as before, and now the sun shone brightly, warmly on the land.  The water was calm and the day was so beautiful and serene that I asked the Lord, "What am I seeing?" He said, "It's the sun of righteousness," referring to the passage in Malachi 4.  I thought about the differences in the two visions--one of tumultuous storms and people running for safety and

Most prophetic voices wait quietly at the end of each year to hear what the Lord is saying for the upcoming year, and I too, do that.  Sometimes, the word comes sooner or even later than I expect, but whatever the Lord is saying I prayerfully share as best I know how in the anointing He has given me to speak to His people.  Last year's word was difficult for me to publish, as it's never fun to announce the arrival of major adversities in the world, but alas, 2014 was the onset of the "year of the terrorists," just as the Holy Spirit said.  We will continue to see that kind of activity in the 2015 year ahead, but in the middle of it all, the Lord takes us to two passages to hold onto, for greater is He in us then he who is in the world.  We do not embrace or succumb to the spirit of fear, rather, we draw near to the love of our heavenly Father who has our best interests at heart always. I wanted to share two dreams that I've had this week and the corresponding Scripture from the book of Jeremiah 6-7. In the first dream I was sitting high upon a sand dune looking down at the beauty of the ocean before me.  It was a wonderful day and there were lots of people playing and swimming in the water.  Then I noticed off in the horizon that dark storm clouds were gathering off the southwest coast of our nation. They clumped together very quickly and did not form a usual, fluffy storm cloud, but rather, had the appearance of a clustered, dark swarm in the sky, moving in abrupt stages, but with calculated precision as if it was looking for something in particular--opportunity?   Next, the waves that had been playfully crashing

Today's word comes from Psalms 107; it is a wonderful praise psalm that is full of gems of wisdom as well.  "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.  Let the redeemed of the Lord say this--those He redeemed from the hand of the foe, those he gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south."  Psalm 107:1-3 There is nowhere that you can go, no depth that you can fall, no darkness that you can be hidden in and no calamity too great that the Lord couldn't save you---He most certainly can!  Praise him for that.  I like this psalm because it lists several different types of situations that people experience in life in which they are in over their heads and need the delivering power of the Lord to rescue them.  Sometimes their distress was caused by their own rebelliousness and foolish choices, "So He subjected them to bitter labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help.  Then they cried ou

Today's word will certainly not appeal to those who demand sweet and cheery prophetic words, as if "encouragement" is the test of a true prophetic word.  Actually, 1 John 4:2-3 is a good place to begin for New Testament-only people, as John sets criteria there: "This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God.  This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world." Funny, too, the latest buzzword warning from pastors about false prophetic words is about "causing fear," but I don't see that in John's criteria either.  2 Timothy 3:16-17 tells us this: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for

Today's word is quite amazing when you consider that I was praying for the persecuted Christians all around the world.  I was asking the Lord, "Lord, we read that when the early Church was being heavily persecuted, that it had the reverse effect of growing the Church's numbers--why are we not seeing that now in Syria and Iraq and other places?"  But the Lord responded with this in my heart: "You will see that.  Soon, at the sight of the violent, needless killing of my innocents, conversions will break out among the enemies' camp, so much so, that they will begin to shield the atrocities from their own ranks, fearful that many will leave the fight at the sight of the injustices.  And the 'mystery of persecution' will bear its perfect fruit in those places." Well, on the last post I shared the vision I had about God intervening on our behaves on the spread of Ebola in our country, and lo and behold, it seems that we are making progress on stopping the spread of the virus.  The nurses and journalist are recovering well, and the family members that were exposed to the virus did not contract it--so a big hallelujah to our God!  The Lord really is good to us. Around the same time that I shared the Ebola word and word for Britain First, I also had another dream about Western girls going over to Syria to become jihadi brides.  I'm not sure why the Lord keeps showing me the people being recruited to go over there, but He has been for the past five months or so.  Anyway, this time I would like to share the dream because the Lord gave a specific word about how He sees the situation and what He has purposed for these recruits. First, I saw several white Western young ladies sitting together in abayas.  They had jus

Quite often when we see things happening in the natural, we forget that many times there are catalysts or influencing factors in the spirit realm first, then it manifested in the natural.  Knowing that is quite helpful, actually, as when I see something in the spirit realm I can pray accordingly to either help thwart or bring to fruition what I see happening in the spirit.  For example, there have been many times when I have entered a school or public building and felt a negative spirit there, maybe even death, and prayed against it so it could not manifest in the natural.  Praise God that He allows us to pray to Him for all things! That brings me to my dream I had this morning.  I saw an extensive "railway" system being built underground.  There were many local tracks being laid with a long distance track already in use.  The workers were dressed in all black cloaks, so I knew they were trying to build these lines covertly, to transport something 

Greetings in the Lord! Today's word comes from Isaiah 8.  In a nutshell, it talks about the Lord using the great and terrible Assyrian army to overtake Aram and the confederacies of Syria, and Ephraim (the northern kingdom of Israel at that time.)  In fact, the sweep will be so fast that the prophet Isaiah is to name his son, "Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz," which means 'quick to the plunder, swift to the spoil.'  In verses 6-7 the Lord gives us a reason why this happens so quickly: "Because this people has rejected the gently flowing waters of Shiloah and rejoices of Rezin and the son of Remaliah, therefore the Lord is about to bring against them the mighty flood waters of the River--the king of Assyria with all his pomp."  What does this passage mean?  Basically, it was saying that within the northern part of Israel and surrounding areas there were many people that were siding with their enemies, even endorsing the cruel and vicious campaign of the River

Greetings in the Lord! Over the past couple of days the Lord has directed my attention over to the UK, specifically to the Britain First organization and to the Rotherham child abuse scandal that went public in August.  For those of you who don't know, Britain First is a group whose self-declared mission is to stir up patriotism amongst Britons to counter and verbally challenge the anti-British rhetoric and Sharia Law imposition of radical Muslims in England.  While this group is becoming quite popular in social media, they have turned some fellow Britons off with their intimidating "Christian patrols," which is meant to counter the "Muslim patrols," and by entering mosques to "talk" and evangelize to Muslims.  Their actions have been seen as too aggressive for the average British person, and wholly unwelcomed by most British Muslims, rightfully so.  Can you imagine if a Muslim went into our church and started proselytizing?  We would be annoyed.

Greetings in the Lord! The most interesting thing about prophetic words regarding nations and current events is patiently watching for them to come to pass.  You never know how they will be fulfilled, or who God will chose to carry it out, but when a headline or story is published confirming the fulfillment of the Lord's word, it truly is a time to acknowledge and give thanks to God...even if it is a word of God's judgment, because ultimately, we know that mercy triumphs over judgment and God has a redemptive plan at the end of it all.  Restoration is God's calling card!  It is with that premise that I want to share with you a wonderful word that has come to pass in the country of Albania.  This week I was reading an article from The Christian Century magazine, a regular column called, "Notes from the Global Church," written by Philip Jenkins.  In his article he tells about the amazing work of Anastasios, the archbishop of Tirana and superior of the Autoce

A couple days ago while in prayer I saw a vision of a very large tree.  I was reminded of Daniel 2, the passage on Nebuchadnezzar's dream of a large tree.  He was that tree, and he saw that while the massive tree was great and provided shelter and fruit for all who came to it, the Lord cut that tree down because of his pride. In my vision, the tree was not cut down, but rather, had a huge hole in it where upon a large owl sat.  The hole was deep into the tree, near to where the trunk began to divide into giant branches.  I wondered about that hole, how did it get so deep?  Was it killing the tree?  The owl was near hidden in that dark hole and it did not seem to be a good thing--it was an unclean bird, a counterfeit of true wisdom.  I discerned that the tree was the United States and that the owl represented ungodly, conventional wisdom that was guiding and hiding in the tree. The passages the Lord gave me was from Malachi 4:1-2 and Jeremiah 13. "

Today's word comes from Psalm 11: In the Lord I take refuge.  How then can you say to me: "Flee like a bird to your mountain.  For look, the wicked bend their bows; they set their arrows against the strings to shoot from the shadows at the upright in heart.  When the foundations are being destroyed, what can the righteous do?" The Lord is in His holy temple; the Lord is on His heavenly throne.  He observes the sons of men; His eyes examine them.  The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence His soul hates. On the wicked He will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their lot. For the Lord is righteous, He loves justice; upright men will see His face. I received this Psalm all summer, when Iraqi Christians were indeed fleeing from Muslim extremists to a mountain for safety.  They were besieged on that mountain for at least ten days without water, food, or shelter before help could get

"All this I have told you so that you will not go astray...in fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering a service to God.  They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me." John 16:1-3 I remember a few years ago being sent to Germany to give a number of prophetic words to people and to decree that the "Mystery of Persecution" was coming to the German Church.  In essence, God chooses whom He will to suffer for His namesake, but the reward of growing deeper and closer to Jesus is worth it!  Likewise, last March I went to Holland and France and also decreed that the Lord's presence was going to come upon His people there and they would grow stronger in the Lord and hot with His words in their bellies.  The Lord also showed me their many foes in the spirit realm--I had never seen European cities so dark!  If you are not aware of the current struggles going on in Europe regarding Islam
