Great Upheaval That Leads to Great Revival
Greetings in the Lord,
All this week I've been observing the updates about the events happening in Hong Kong, both in the natural and in the spirit. The news articles and video clips are saddening and the tactics that are being employed to try and quell the protests--riot police, tear gas, water cannons, arrests, job loss, and of course the outright brutality and violence of the police, are really scary. And those are just the things we know about. But the worst prospect in my mind is the ominous social credit system---once identities are known of protesters, you can be sure that when the social credit system is in full application in Chinese outlying territories, that these folks will be blacklisted electronically and then life will be very, very difficult. You see, the Chinese social credit system is a closed economic system, so when you are blacklisted, every electronic transaction they stipulate will be denied, IE they will be prevented by in large of participating in it. Therefore, most definitely, it can be said that the Chinese social credit system is a prototype Antichrist system as mentioned in the book of Revelation.
"It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name." Revelation 13:16-17. It is interesting that the number 666 is considered a lucky number in China, but we will save that discussion for another day.
Anyway, the theme of being cut off and excluded from everyone/everything was what I kept seeing in the spirit all week. In my dreams, people were at work or walking around the city and officials/authorities came to them under false pretenses, pleasantly coaxing them to follow them--then when they were isolated, the officials turned on them and enclosed the people in a room full of trash and the door was locked. The captives then began sorting through the trash trying to find anything of value. It was terrible.
As I prayed about these dreams, the Lord instead began to speak to my heart about the coming events in Hong Kong, saying that now was the time for protest leaders to decide what they would do: flee to safety or suffer loss, for the Lord was opening doors in Taiwan and other places for those who wanted to flee to safety--but they needed to act now; the hammer is coming down very soon. The mainland mask will come off and they will not care and declare to the world, "Mind your business--this is our matter." Even now the great purge and sifting has already begun; the fire of the dragon will be seen in the skies.
"When the hammer comes down in HK, the people on the mainland will realize that the leadership has been too harsh with all the Chinese: the poor in Beijing, Xinjiang, growing disparity between the rich and poor, soaring costs of living and housing prices, land taken away from the country folk, heavy religious and political persecution, etc. and some will begin to "Sing Hallelujah to the Lord" in solidarity with their brothers in HK. What leadership has feared will rise up, and many will come to know Jesus. It is the time of great upheaval that leads to great revival."
Indeed, of Zion it will be said, "This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her." The Lord will write in the register of the peoples: "This one was born in Zion." As they make music they will sing, "All my fountains are in You." Psalm 87:5-7.
