Early Morning Warning

Greetings!

The Holy Spirit woke me this dark icy morning to deliver a stern message:
"I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I am full of joy over you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and about what is evil." Romans 16:17-19

The writer Paul doesn't mix any words, does he? And neither should we! By being "innocent about what is evil" we are taking no part in the misguided efforts of others and are being wise to their true selfish intentions. Lord, I pray that you will open the eyes of our hearts to see your righteous ways and follow closely to them, for we know you love humility, purity, and unity. Please open our ears to hear your Words and give us the strength to turn from those words which seek to deceive us. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Athaliah Rising Up? But Restoration Promised

Greetings in the Lord~ In the summer of 2019, the Lord gave me a word from 2 Chronicles 22-23, a story about Queen Athaliah.  At the time I got the word, I did a vlog about it on Youtube [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpyslP6ELTA ] and discussed what I felt the Lord was saying at that time, namely, that there was a rising up of an Athaliah spirit, a fierce female demonic spirit in our government that would cause much havoc as it pushed a socialist agenda that was not popular with most Americans.  Athaliah was the daughter of Queen Jezebel, but did not use seduction and deception like her mother.  Rather, she was brutal and direct in her attacks.  I saw this most clearly with the new Representative members of Congress, "The Five." The only issue was, and I did not elaborate on this at the time, was that I pondered if there was an actual "Athaliah" to rise up in our country, similar to the Biblical story.  If so, then that would mean that we would have a female...

Let Your Yes Be Yes, and Your No Be No

Greetings in the Lord~ Today's first word is from Matthew 5:17-46.  In these verses, Jesus focuses on the Law and then begins to explain God's heart and original intention in the Law, but because what he says almost sounds like he is changing the Law, he begins by clearly saying, "I did not come to change the Law...but to fulfill its purpose."   So, we can know right away that their culture and understanding of the Law was different than what God had originally intended.  Well, that always seems to happen; we learn the rules then set about to get around them or use them to our advantage!  In a nutshell, Jesus is saying that it is not enough just to obey the Law, but to also embrace God's heart and attitude for the Law as well, and they will lead to truth.  For example, the Law forbade adultery; yet Jesus explained that even having a heart full of lust for another was adultery.  Likewise regarding murder; if your heart was full of bitter anger towards som...

Waters Will Sweep Away the Dam Wall

Greetings in the Lord~ Over the past year, it had been prophesied that there would be a "reset" of sorts in the prophetic community and it seems to have finally taken root.  But I have to laugh, much of the "reset" was merely getting the prophetic community at large up to speed with those of us who were already prophesying the difficult words of judgment or controversial governmental prophetic words that usually got us sidelined and thrown out of that circle before.  These words are not the popular, feel-good, "encouraging" prophetic words that itching ears wanted to hear.  In fact, there was a whole man-made etiquette within the prophetic community that ultimately kept them from really being influential within our society or even truthful with God's words -- and it almost never dealt with repentance!  Most of it was pure sugar for the soul.  And I am not even exaggerating when I say that even the plethora of secular and political "truth-tellers...

Worldly Lot, Our Lesson Too

Greetings in the Lord~ Today's word comes primarily from Genesis 13.  It's the story of Abram and Lot going their separate ways, a separation that happens on many levels, I'm afraid.  In the natural, it was an obvious solution as both had many flocks and herds and the land could not support them together.  Even their herdsmen were fighting about the situation.  But the problem was way more than a simple case of too many animals; rather, it was the circumstance the Lord was going to use to reveal the real issues at hand.  You see, Abram was Lot's uncle and also a righteous man, faithful in God's eyes, so he was a wonderful familial role model and excellent spiritual mentor as well.  However, Lot only benefited on the surface of things, prospering because he was under Abram's guidance and authority, for Lot did not embrace Abram's deep devotion to the Lord and drifted away spiritually as he departed from Abram's presence.  Lesson number one: material w...

Transition Time in Europe--Word for 2020 Pt 1

Greetings in the Lord~ Well, as is my usual practice, I take the month of December to fast and pray and prepare for the New Year while I wait for the prophetic word for 2020.  Sometimes I don't get the word until February, sometimes I've actually gotten it in October or November, it really doesn't follow any predictable pattern as far as I can tell.  Anyway, today in my devotional time the Lord led me to read Daniel 7, a chapter I seemed to be getting more frequently this past year or so.  It is a passage in which Daniel shares his vision of four beasts coming up out of the sea. No More Whitewashing About Failed Immigration Policies

Greetings in the Lord~ Today's word is from Ezekiel 13, which is a strong rebuke to all of the false prophets and lying 'diviners' in the land.  Actually, I think the last time I got this passage it was in reference to German Chancellor Merkel, specifically verses 17 thru 23, where the Lord decreed He was going to save His people from the power of lying "daughters" who were misleading the people, and disheartening and harming the righteous while encouraging and enabling the wicked.  It was pretty obvious to me at that time that the whole chapter was the Lord's rebuke in reference to the whitewashing that was/is being done by Merkel's administration to pretend there was/is nothing wrong with their immigration policies.  They had been lying in the news and censoring the truth about the extensive migrant burden and violence being done in Germany--but the Lord said "No more."  She would be removed and the people would be saved from her deceptive li...
