Greetings in the Lord! Recently I shared that the Lord has been sending me to various cities around Michigan for prophetic ministry. What a fun and busy time that has been. Even more enjoyable has been the words the Lord has given me to share: words of building, cleansing, launching out in different ministry projects, and the like. Those are always the most fun to give because right now many people in the "north" are being sent out to do the things God has been preparing them to do, and they are very receptive to hearing the wisdom, direction, and encouragement of the Lord. Having said that, the Lord on Monday during my prayer time gave me the word to go to California to prophesy. This, I discern, will be a "Jonah" trip: "Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time: "Go to the city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you." Greetings in the Lord! I hope everyone thoroughly enjoyed their summer and had a great Labor Day! While "a man can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work," (Eccl. 2:24a), it still is nice to have a holiday thrown in there every now and then... :) Anyway, I wanted to share about what I've been experiencing and seeing this past week or so in the spirit as I've traveled to cities in northern Michigan: I've been seeing wind--and lots of it! First, in Traverse City last week I had a vision of strong winds sweeping over the bay area, blowing as if to wipe the area "clean". One part of this vision also included a sail boat with red and white stripes on it--a believer in Christ--using the wind (and rudder--our carefully spoken words) to manuver swiftly around the bay. At first I thought this vision was specific for that person, but since I've seen so many other visions of wind, I now realize that it is more of a vision

Greetings in the Lord! Recently on the Elijah list, there was a specific word given that I felt God was keeping me in the loop about--but had not given me full understanding yet. This word had to do with the call to fast for three weeks in July and cry out to God for protection and strategy during an increased time of attack by the enemy. As described by prophet Bob Jones, this enemy spirit was a major "snake" spirit that usually runs amuck undetected and is very dangerous--even being linked to nationwide plagues, if I remember correctly. It was put on my heart to fast and pray, so I did, while keeping an eye in the news to see what would develop or transpire. Would God reveal a major terrorist plot or would some high-level terrorists be caught? Well, I saw there was some increased activity on this front worldwide, but it didn't seem that it was relevant to what was being laid on my heart by the Lord. Greetings in the Lord! Today I had a dream and corresponding word from the Lord from Hosea 8:5-14. I discern is about the nation of Iceland. You may recall that in March of 2006 the Lord had sent me to that country to prophesy His word over that nation of coming judgment and also of His raising up of prayer warriors. In the dream I had today I saw a cold and desolate city, now in ruins. Upon closer inspection I saw that there was a human head and shoulders perfectly preserved in the stone building structure. It reminded me of pictures of Pompeii, where the were people so quickly covered by ash and lava that they were preserved just as they were when the volcano overtook the city. Next, in the dream I was filming the area with a special camera that showed me only the outlines of the structures being filmed: a crater, ruins of a building, etc. It looked like a moving cartoon and I heard a voice say, "You are only seeing the outline of the incident." It has been awhile since the Lord has laid anything in my spirit that I felt led to share with you all, but from my heart I am hoping the Lord is moving mightily in your life this summer. Recently I asked the Lord about the absence of writing on here, and the Spirit laid in my spirit that this is a different season--one of reaping, whereas last year was one of sowing many prophetic words. Having said that, I am going to share a word today that came accompanied with a dream. This morning I awoke from a dream in which I saw a young person at the death of Chris Farley. You may recall that he was a talented funny man of the Saturday Night Live show in the 90s. Anyway, in my dream Chris was in a very nice apartment in a skyscraper building. He was clowning around and trying out some new material for a stand-up routine when he just collapsed. The young person he was entertaining was alarmed, but didn't know what to do. That person called 911 and told the disp

Greetings in the Lord! Today as I was reading through news articles I came across one that was telling about how Paris Hilton "found God" in jail. Oh, the skeptics abound, but do you recall the word and the dream the Lord gave that was shared on this blogsite October 24th, 2006? In that blog, I shared a prophetic dream about telling Paris and her sister about Jesus--and that He would and could redeem them from the sins and debauchery of their youth. I discerned at the time that Paris specifically would be a "modern-day Mary Magdalene," in that the Lord would deliver and redeem her and she would be devoted to Him. Praise God! As Christians, we are to get into agreement with the saving grace of our Lord and Savior. Begin to pray and praise God that He is touching and redeeming celebrities' lives in Hollywood and other places so that they will be a bold and faithful witness to the world that our Savior lives and redeems the lost! About two weeks ago I had a dream in which I looked over to the direction of my closet and I saw a rock in a desert---then water, clear and cool came out from it and filled my spirit. It was so refreshing that I actually woke up full of energy. It reminded me of the rock Moses struck in the desert that brought forth water for the Israelites. It was so powerful a dream that I discerned that something new was about to take place. Well, sure enough. This week the Lord has put on my heart that He intends to pour out His Spirit on the YMCA where I am employed. The funny thing is, all up until that dream of water coming from the rock, I had been distressed about the lack of the true "C"--Christianity, in the YMCA. By in large, the organization promotes "good" religious values (Caring, Respect, Responsibility, and Honesty) and give some lip service to God, but actions and hard heart conditions toward Jesus and the Word are overly prevalent. Today's word is from Isaiah 26 and Ezekiel 30, of which I will share selected verses: "He humbles those who dwell on high, He lays the lofty city low; He levels it to the ground and casts it to the dust. Greetings in the Lord! Today's message is a strong word and directly speaks to false prophets--those who have called themselves to speak and do not speak the Lord's words. Those who persist in telling lies, speaking from their own imaginations, persecuting and rebelling against true prophets and anointed leaders, and manipulating others for their own financial and emotional needs/gains. Also, and specifically, this word was given over a year ago to a certain "prophetess" in the north and she still will not depart from the Jezebel spirit that she walks with and influences her. Please pray for her, for these are serious times. Understand that the Lord is merciful and just. He does not act rashly and sends many people and circumstances to return hearts back to Himself, always in the effort to show His grace and forgiveness rather than His discipline. Greetings in the Lord! All week the Lord has been giving me scriptures that deal with jealousy and contention within the body of Christ. In Matthew 20:1-16 we read the parable about the landowner who hired workers at different times throughout the day, but at day's end, they all received the same wage--much to the displeasure of the earlier hired workers. "But he answered one of them, 'Friend, I am not being unfair to you. Didn't you agree to work for a denarius? Take your pay and go. I want to give the man who was hired last the same as I gave you. Don't I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?'" Matthew 20:13-15. In the Hebrew translation the word 'envious' literally means, "is your eye evil?" All throughout the Middle East this concept is widely understood: Evil eye is associated with jealousy and envy. Greetings in the Lord! Has anyone been at work tilling hard soil over the past couple of years? What about cutting down thistles and weeds and combing rocks out of a parched land? Yep, me too. Well, this week I had the pleasure of watching the groundsmen where I live prepare the rocky, dry ground for green grass to be laid. They plowed the ground level then removed big rocks, and finally, they laid out rows of green grass turf! In an afternoon the areas around the house became a beautiful lush lawn! Greetings in the Lord! On Friday night I joined an outreach team at the St. Louis Dream Center to go to the inner city neighborhoods of St. Louis for street evangelism. I don't mind telling you that I was a bit nervous--St. Louis has received top billing as the most dangerous city in the US. The words the Lord gave me were not much comfort either. The first word, based on Ezekiel 22, talks about Israel's rampant violence, immorality and idolatry and the Lord rising to deal with them. "Then the word of the Lord came to me: "Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to me; all of them are the copper, tin, iron and lead left inside a furnace. They are but the dross of silver. Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: 'Because you have all become dross, I will gather you into Jerusalem. As men gather silver, copper, iron, lead and tin into a furnace to melt it with a fiery blast, so will I gather you in my anger and my wrath and put you inside the c

Greetings in the Lord! Today while watching the news updates on CNN I saw images of fires burning up forests in southern Georgia and also heard about the wind storms and tornadoes blowing through Illinios, Ohio, Indiana, and Tennessee and the Spirit brought to my rememberance the words given on this site April 9th and 11th, both speaking of such natural disasters happening in those regions. One vision of a wind storm was given in Plainfield, Illinois, where a tornado just swept through. "Who can speak and have it happen if the Lord has not decreed it? Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that both calamities and good things come?" Lamentations 3:37-38. I am also reminded of how the Lord is moving so quickly and fiercely this season--prophetic words coming to pass very quickly. Can you exalt His name even through the eye of a storm? And many will question these words because their understanding of the Lord is a narrow view focusing on blessings, prosperity, and peace. But

Greetings in the Lord! Last night the Spirit put on my heart to go to the St. Louis Dream Center Tuesday night worship service. This center was founded by Joyce Meyer Ministries, of which I am a big fan, so it was a delight to go and see what the Lord is doing there. Well, instead of their usual service the kids were putting on a skit called, "Voice of Change." The focus of the evening was to teach the audience to be a voice for the voiceless and to spearhead change for our generation by stepping out boldly for our faith in the face of opposition. I must admit, however, I am not a big fan of children's performances. I just don't have the patience it takes to listen to mumbled lines or wait while they remember what is supposed to happen next. Having said that, I will say that the whole night was worth it just to see the closing act. It was a last supper scene, with the disciples singing and Jesus had already ascended. Greetings in the Lord! Can I just tell you how excited I am about the miraculous things the Lord is doing? So many in our midst, we couldn't count them all if we tried! "He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. When He passes me, I cannot see Him; when He goes by, I cannot perceive Him." This word was given in December 2005 to me regarding our modern-day prophets whose entire ministries have been devoted to "preparing the way of the Lord." Greetings in the Lord! I hope everyone had a great Easter celebration! I, too, was able to enjoy mine, even while working in a day visit to a prophetic conference being held in Chicago. There's never a dull moment with the Lord. :) At any rate, I wanted to take a moment to share with all of you a recap of what the Lord has been saying to me these days, even confirming things He had dropped into my spirit as long as two years ago. On the way into Chicago I got off on a smaller highway that passed right through Plainfield, Naperville, and other towns of suburban southwest Chicago. I had an open-eyed vision of a preacher/teacher being blown out of a pulpit, then from under a tree, and finally from a small hilltop. I knew that these images represented Old Testament idolatry. It was interesting, too, that at the same time I saw this vision that there were many large churches, larger shopping malls, and brand new residential districts of beautiful homes all along this stretch of h

Greetings in the Lord! As many of you know, the Lord has sent me to the south St. Louis area along the great Mississippi river for a season of time. And, at the small congregation He has sent me to, I've been a witness to hear and see their cry to God for revival in this area as well as the nation. Well, I want to share with all of you a most blessed word that the Spirit gave us last week: " Revival has already begun in the north." Last week a guest preacher from Florida was invited to come up to help celebrate the congregation's 6th year anniversary. From Sunday to Wednesday he preached on "Supernatural Encouragement"--we were so blessed! It was on Sunday night that we were speaking about revival and the Lord filled my mouth with, "Revival has already begun in the north." Greetings in the Lord! Spring is definitely in the air in St. Louis! The landscape is brightly lit with all sorts of colors of flowers in bloom. Finally, too, the mud is being paved with bright green grass. Amen! But the best news is that His Seed also springing forth! Yes, 3 or 4 years ago the Lord had sent me down to Texas to sow some seed, in very rocky soil I might add, and I had not heard anything since then. Well, as it turned out, the Lord had also sent others to water, prune, fertilize, etc. those seeds and lo and behold---a sprout has eruped! "But your dead will live; their bodies will rise. You who dwell in the dust, wake up and shout for joy. Your dew is like the dew of the morning; the earth will give birth to her dead." Greetings in the Lord! For the past few days the Lord has been leading me to read passages of Scripture that talk about standing firm in the truth and contending for the faith. Today's passage is more of the same. 2 Peter 1:12,16-21~ "So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have....We did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For he received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." We ourselves heard this voice that came from heaven when we were with him on the sacred mountain. Greetings in the Lord! A month ago as the Lord was preparing me for the next place He would send me, I recall having a dream in which I parachuted down from the sky looking at a pleasant hilly land below me. While most of it was covered with trees, I also saw cliffsides and cleared areas of land where someone had cut away a portion of a hill, exposing the rock and leaving level ground of muddy dirt and uprooted trees. That is now my view as I look out the townhouse window! Yes, the cutting away of the hills and clearing of the trees is because of housing developments--everywhere! I am living along the great Mississippi River, in the rolling hills south of St. Louis. It is an area of small, sleepy country towns...now being overrun by crafty businessmen who are developing areas that no one can see how the local economies will support. And for the "leaders" of these communities, they don't seem to mind. Why? Because many profit handsomely from selling these areas of l

Greetings in the Lord! It is good to write to you again. I don't know about many of you, but the 'winds of change' that were written about back in Nov./Dec. have been blowing mightily around my neck of the woods! Yes, turbulent and forceful winds. Winds that have gone way beyond wrecking hairdos and more like having people run for cover. This morning as I was praying I saw myself hunkered down on the ground while a windstorm raged above me. The Lord was letting me see just how I've been spiritually for the past months--not moving backwards, but digging in with my hands, knees and feet to remain firmly fixed to the ground, to the Rock that can't be moved while all else is swept away. But alas, in confirmation to the word Chuck Pierce gave today, the winds will be changing in our favor soon enough.
